Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is getting closer and closer to release and Capcom releases new information about the gaming experience regarding resolution and frame rate.
In particular, with the ray tracing option enabled, we will have two game possibilities:
- 4K resolution at 30 frames per second.
- 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second.
If, on the contrary, we will not have activated ray tracing, the scenario of available options changes:
- 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
- Possibility of reaching 120 frames per second.
It therefore becomes clear that ray tracing will weigh a lot on our gaming experience. The next-gen still doesn't seem ready for the much-dreamed experience with active ray tracing and 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
However, the fact that the developer gives us the choice seems like a very good thing. Some players may in fact prefer higher frames per second, at the expense of resolution, or vice versa. Everything will be in our hands and yours.
We remind you that Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition will be available, in digital format, on November 10 for Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X and on November 12 or November 19 (depending on the location) for PlayStation 5. The physical edition, on the other hand, will arrive on December 1 for both the Microsoft home consoles and the new Sony home console.
