After seeing the best goalkeepers, today we will analyze the defenders, dividing them into central, left-back and right-back. Are you ready to take notes? There is plenty of material!
Central Defenders
5 - Medhi Benatia (86, Juventus)
As in reality, the Moroccan defender of Juventus represents a great certainty in the middle of the field, and more precisely in the center of the defense. Parameters such as 85 a physicality ed 87 in defense make him one of the best in the role, penalized only by a speed value (70) a little too low compared to the vast majority of acrobatic attackers opponents. However, it remains one of the best players in the role, however it cannot boast a very affordable cost for what it offers and, therefore, remains a less attractive option than others.

4 - Milan Skriniar (85, Inter)
In all likelihood, he is the best central defender for value for money. The granite Slovakian defender of Inter, in fact, represents a real security at an absolutely accessible cost, thanks to a series of very high parameters. First, of course, the defense value, well 87 (one of the highest ever), accompanied by a decent speed value (72), excellent for a central defense, and a 82 to the physicality voice that never hurts. Accompanied by the holder of a card Ombre, this player can become one of the cornerstones of your defense right away, trust me.

3 - Giorgio Chiellini (89, Juventus)
The giant of Juventus and of our national team is certainly one of the defenders, and more generally of the players, the strongest and with the highest overall in the entire FIFA 19 ecosystem. The very high value for defense (91), accompanied by a discrete 82 physicality, makes it a winning choice in case you used a defense with four defenders, but which in any case is heavily penalized by a speed that stops "only" at 69. However, he remains one of the best athletes in the whole game and, once again, with the use of a card Ombre could give you a lot of satisfaction. But be careful: the price is really high and, as for Benatia, it probably doesn't justify the expense.

2 - Kostas Manolas (85, Rome)
The very fast Greek defender of Roma is one of the best in the role ever, not only in our league. Thanks to a stellar value under the heading speed (83), very high for a central, supported by an excellent one 82 in physicality and from an equally excellent 86 in defense, the player is one of the mandatory purchases to start your adventure in the Ultimate Team. Mind you though: it has an excellent value for money, but still costs a lot of credits. Trust us once again, however, it is worth them all, right down to the last. Understanding style recommended? obviously guardian: a few more points in physicality and defense, in his case, are a real godsend.

1 - Kalidou Koulibaly (87, Naples)
The role of central defender, in Serie A (but not only), has only one master: Kalidou Koulibaly. The gigantic defender of Napoli, although he cannot boast of an enviable speed (72, as well as many others), offers an impressive combination of defense (88) and physicality (86), which makes it difficult to overcome in most cases. It costs a lot (but less than Chiellini and a little more than Benatia) but, once again, it is worth every single cent of the purchase price. If you love each other, give yourself a Koulibaly and put a card on it Ombre: with a little more speed it becomes truly unbeatable!

Left Backs
5 - Dalbert (76, Inter)
Don't be fooled by the very modest overall: Dalbert is one of the strongest left-backs in our league, one of the most profitable signings to cover the left flank of your fantasy team. The main strength is, of course, the speed: 91, with also an excellent dribbling value (76) and a decent one 71 in defense and physicality. On paper it does not scream a miracle, ok, but trust me: thanks also to a very modest price, you will bless every single cent spent to buy it! Our advice is to apply a card Sentinel to the player, to make him increase the defense value as much as possible.

4- Kwadwo Asamoah (79, Inter)
We always remain in the ranks of the Inter team with Kwadwo Asamoah, a seasoned defender and famous in our league, who played for many in Udinese first and then in Juventus. Fast (77), agile (dribbling 82), good at defense (78) and embellished with a very low market price for what it offers, Asamoah is probably the best left-back in Serie A for value for money. With the help of a card Spine, the player will become truly important.

3 - Domenico Criscito (81, Genoa)
A very valid and surprisingly reliable element, despite being very neglected and characterized by a very low market cost. The writer has used it for over 50 matches, and on several occasions "Mimmo" Criscito proved to be the best in the field or at least one of the best. Reliable in defense (80) and also skilled in crosses (78 steps), the player sins only in dribbling, stopped only at altitude 72. With a card guardian the player will truly become a must have for any self-respecting team.

2 - Aleksandar Kolarov (82, Rome)
If we exclude a really too low speed for a full-back (only 71), otherwise the Roma defender Aleksandar Kolarov is truly a prodigious element, who excels in almost all other parameters (81 passes, defense and physical), and who always makes his presence felt on the pitch. Also not to be underestimated is the fact that the good Kolarov is one of the best set piece shooters in the whole game, which certainly can prove to be an extra weapon to have in your arsenal. With the help of a card Ombre, which significantly increases the speed, the player becomes really strong, believe it.

1 - Alex Sandro (86, Juventus)
The defensive left wing of Seria A has only one master: Alex Sandro. The Brazilian full-back of Juventus is one of the strongest in the whole game, with very high values (85 speed and more than 80 in defense, dribbling and physical), which make him one of the best players in FIFA 19. The only problem (very serious) is that it costs very much: to make it yours, in fact, you will have to spend very much (at least 90.000 credits), but trust us: you won't regret it!

Right Backs
5 - Rick Karsdorp (76, Rome)
Let's deal immediately with the elephant in the room: the role of right-back in our league is probably the one characterized by the worst gaps and by a rather narrow overall quality. The one who occupies the fifth position, in fact, is recommended almost exclusively for a very high speed value (87), surrounded by other more than modest parameters (all at 72-74), which certainly do not make one cry for a miracle. The young Dutch full-back, however, with a good card Sentinel applied, he can have his say, as long as you pay him as little as possible.

4 - Joao Cancelo (81, Juventus)
The real reason why the bombastic Juventus full-back is so low in our special ranking is mainly due to the disappointment felt in using him with his hand. The Portuguese defender costs a lot, gets tired quickly, and is not as effective as he might seem in supporting the attackers. It is undoubtedly a highly recommended purchase, if you focus on the speed of the elements (88), but our advice is to look elsewhere. Again, however, the player's recommended card is Sentinel.

3 - Sime Vrsaljko (81, Inter)
The Croatian full-back of Inter, returning to Serie A after a far from positive experience in Atletico Madrid, is a player of great solidity and reliability, characterized by very high and balanced parameters, which make him one of the most prudent for the right wing of defense, also thanks to a truly advantageous market price. Our advice is to apply a card Spine or alternatively a card guardian to further enhance their contribution on the pitch.

2 - Elseid Hysaj (81, Naples)
The Albanian right back of Napoli is a real gem of quality. Thanks also to an incredible quality-price ratio (he can also be found on 1000 credits), Hysaj is probably the best right-back in our league, being endowed with excellent value in all the fundamental points of the role (81 speed, 79 defense, 76 physicality and dribbling) and a truly enviable yield on the pitch. Take our word for it: buy it and you won't regret it even for a second! Our advice for the intended style falls on Tireless or Artist, in order to increase the passing value (therefore also cross), rather narrow (only 68).

1 - Alessandro Florenzi (82, Rome)
Without thinking about it at all, the strongest right-back in Serie A (and in general among the strongest in all of EA Sports' football) is Alessandro Florenzi of Roma. With very high parameters (84 speeds, 81 dribbles and all the others above 76), an incredible yield on the pitch, an enviable offensive danger, the “fake” Giallorossi defender is one of the fundamental points of any self-respecting team. It doesn't cost very little but not much either. For what it offers, however, it is probably also cheap. Mark it among the very first purchases of your training, make the right choice!
