Final Fantasy VII Remake - The Night Encounters

Final Fantasy VII Remake - The Night Encounters

In Final Fantasy VII Remake at the beginning of Chapter 14 we will see a scene where Cloud talks at night in the garden of Aerith's house with a character. It looks like one of the many scenes in the game, but it's actually influenced by our actions. It is a situation that for dynamics recalls (and indeed winks) to the scene of the appointment at the Gold Saucer of the original Final Fantasy VII, even if very different.

Without confronting other players it is impossible to identify it, and you only realize its existence at the end of the game, when you unlock the screen Game results in the System sub-menu. Here we find the voice Night Encounters (Chapter 14) or "Resolutions witnessed”If you have set the English language for the lyrics. While completing this entry doesn't reward us with any trophies, the scenes it refers to are interesting to watch; and if you are a true completist, you don't want to leave that list incomplete, do you?

With this guide we will explain how to unlock all three meetings, but we warn you that there are SPOILERS of the events of Final Fantasy VII Remake up to Chapter 14.

Final Fantasy VII Remake - The Night Encounters

If you just want to unlock the scenes as quickly as possible, you obviously use the ability to jump from one chapter to another which will be unlocked once you finish the game for the first time. Remember, however, that the game will "calculate" your actions only by finishing the chapter in which you do them.

As in Final Fantasy VII, in the night scene we will be able to meet Tifa, Aerith or Barret. The choice of character to meet at the Gold Saucer in the original was calculated based on your answers in certain scenes of the story. There will also be such choices in the Remake, but they will have relative weight. Much of the influence will be dictated by side missions that you will complete.

Completing all the side missions in Chapter 3 will earn you points with Tifa, while completing the ones in Chapter 8 will put you in a good light with Aerith. So unless you are the laziest gamer in the world, during your first run you should have unlocked the match with one of the two girls.

But if you are a diligent player and have completed all the missions of both Chapter 3 and 8 then the choice of the scene will be dictated by your answers during the game. Below are the opportunities that we believe have an impact on the choice.

Final Fantasy VII Remake - The Night Encounters

    AERITH

    • Chapter 2: choose "How much does it cost?" when the girl offers you the flower.
    • Chapter 9: talking to the man outside the hotel, choose "Farewell".
    • Chapter 9: when Aerith asks what her dress looks like, say "I don't mind".
    • Chapter 10: At the beginning of the chapter, in the sewers, talk to Aerith.

Final Fantasy VII Remake - The Night Encounters

    TIFA

    • Chapter 3: when he asks you what to get at the bar, choose "Something strong".
    • Chapter 9: when Chocobo Sam asks you to describe her, choose “She is very beautiful”.
    • Chapter 10: At the beginning of the chapter, in the sewers, talk to Tifa.

Obviously if you want to increase the chances of unlocking one of the two scenes you should give the opposite answers referring to the other character.

Also remember that without doing side missions the answers count for little. For example, if you give all the right answers to “conquer” Aerith but you haven't done the missions of Chapter 8, forget to see her in the night encounter.

    BARRET

The scene with Barret is the least likely to unlock during the first run, but it's also the easiest and quickest to recover. It will be enough for you avoid doing any side quests of Chapter 3 and Chapter 8. Once you have finished the respective chapters jump directly to 14 and you will find him in the night scene.

Here is then completed this entry of the Game Results. To complete the others, take a look at our other guides on Final Fantasy VII Remake.
