Ghost of Tsushima - How to get more supplies

A self-respecting samurai must always be ready for any eventuality. This also means always having the right materials available. Scattered throughout Tsushima you will find Supplies, Wood, Fabric and various types of Metals that can be used to upgrade your gear.

Maintaining abundant reserves of all types of material is essential to be able to complete the adventure in the best possible way Ghost of Tsushima, so here are some tips on how to stock up on everything you need in the PlayStation 4 exclusive Sucker Punch title.

Where to find supplies in Ghost of Tsushima

There are several ways to obtain supplies. For example, search everywhere, defeat enemies, and sell surplus resources to hunters. Taking down enemies is probably the least effective method of gathering supplies, so we don't recommend it.

However, if you want to maximize the efficiency of gathering resources in the game world, collect the Charm of Inari from the Shrine of Arrow Peak to the southeast of the map of Act 1, near Archer's Rise and Sakimori Overlook. This Charm will give you extra resources every time you collect them.

Probably the easiest way to get a large amount of extra supplies is to find a hunter in a survivor camp or city and sell them anything that isn't usable. For example iron or steel once you have finished improving the katana.

Approximately 1000 units of supplies can easily be obtained by selling the excess fabric. It is also possible to take 100 units of supplies from Gift Altars in cities. Gift Altars regenerate each time Tales are completed, so you can complete side missions and then go get the loot.

Where to find Predator Hides in Ghost of Tsushima

If supplies are the most abundant, Predator Skins are the rarest. It is possible to collect them only in small quantities from Bankhar dogs that are found with groups of Mongols, wild boars and, in greater quantities, from bears. If you shoot the deer they won't drop anything.

The only advice we can give you to collect more Predator Hides skins is to equip the Charm of Inari (we were talking about above) and circumscribe the wooded areas on the map when you go hunting for bears. They are usually found slaughtering Mongols, while wild boars roam in groups of three and flee once attacked.

Where to find Iron, Steel and Gold in Ghost of Tsushima

During the adventure you will need a lot of metals, as they will be used to upgrade primary weapons.

In order to collect them in the most efficient way, look for the Mongolian Territory on the map, marked with red markers. Smaller camps tend to provide a hiding place for iron and steel, while strongholds provide gold. In addition to the basic reward, be sure to search every ravine in the invaders' settlements.

If you struggle to find the Mongolian Territory on the map, you have two other options. In safe cities, sometimes, you will see citizens with clouds on their heads: talk to them and they will point you to a point of interest on the map. As a second option, while you are touring the island, you will encounter bands of Mongolian soldiers escorting prisoners. Rescue the captured civilians and they will mark on your map the Mongol stronghold where they were taken prisoner. These meetings happen quite often.

Where to find Flowers in Ghost of Tsushima

Harvesting flowers can be very slow, especially if you want to complete your sword kit or armor dye. But with a couple of tips, the collection can be simplified.

First, the flowers tend to grow near streams, but also in built-up areas. But the simplest thing to do is to go to the map screen and set the wind guide, so you can find the nearest flower bed.

Where to find Bamboo, Yew Wood and Wax Wood in Ghost of Tsushima

Bamboo and Yew Wood shouldn't give you any particular trouble to be found in the Tsushima forests. Both appear regularly as you wander the world. Wax Wood, on the other hand, is found only in shrines marked on the map.

What you need to know about these shrines is that in addition to the Wax Wood, there is an extra plant to be found to complete the shrine. This plant grows right on top of the sanctuary. Be sure to take a good look around before getting off.

Where to find Linen, Leather and Silk in Ghost of Tsushima

Unless you want to max out all your sets, it's virtually impossible for you to need both underwear and extra leather for the duration of your trip.

However, if you want to collect this type of material, just tackle the Tales of Tsushima side quests. These short side quests, once completed, will fill you with cloth, especially those involving Sensei Ishikawa and Lady Masako Adachi.
