God of War: an update is coming for PlayStation 5

God of War is about to be updated on PlayStation 5, sooner than expected. The update for God of War should be available in a few hours and will optimize performance of the title on the new Sony console. While the PlayStation 4 Pro version allowed players to choose between performance and graphics resolution, thanks to this new update, God of War will run at 4K and 60 fps on PlayStation 5. Sony Santa Monica has personally put his stamp on it.

God of War: an update is coming for PlayStation 5

The God of War update should be available today and free for all title holders, including via the PlayStation Plus Collection. The new graphics mode has been called "Enhanced Performance Experience" and will still allow players to choose between this and the "old" with 30 fps, if for some strange reason they prefer it. The patch only affects ed exclusively the graphics sector, no game elements or new mechanics have been added. The differences with the PlayStation 4 version should concern only the graphics and some small foresight in the use of the Dual Sense mechanics. The next title to receive the update for PlayStation 5 should be Horizon Zero Dawn, in addition to The Last of Us Part II. In this way Sony will not have to release any remastered.
