First you will need the code, which you can get by following the steps below:
- Log into Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo 3DS system.
- Select Menu in the upper left corner.
- Select Settings / Other.
- Select Summary of operations.
- Select View the receipt for Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver.
- You will find the serial code on the purchase receipt.
Once you have obtained the serial code you will only have to redeem the creature, following the relative procedure:
- Make a note of the code obtained when purchasing Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver.
- Select Secret Gift from the boot menu.
- Select Receive gift.
- Select By serial code / password, then Yes, then again Yesto connect to the Internet.
- Enter the code.
- Please wait while Celebi transfers.
- Talk to the postman or postwoman you will find at any Pokémon Center to receive your Celebi.
- And don't forget to save your game!
