Many are playing The Last Guardian and many will have already finished it. In fact, the title is not the most long-lived even considering the slowness with which the gameplay is presented: in fact, finishing it is not difficult once you overcome the emotional impediment represented by the clumsy camera.
But what's at the end of The Last Guardian?

Before answering this question we want to be sure that you have seen the ending proposed by the game. Because when the game seems to end ei credits appear on the screen we are not actually seeing the "real" end of the game.
What you need to do is sit back and wait for them to finish. Once finished, a familiar scene will present itself before your eyes. The mirror used to guide the lightning from Trico's tail will be half-buried in the earth, exactly as it was when we started the game.
A shadow stretches over the object, and several children group around it: a taller figure approaches, leaving room for the tattooed child in his maturity, the one who told the story of The Last Guardian until now.
He takes the mirror in his hand and raises it to the sky. The magical power contained within it is activated once again, the object takes flight, crosses the clouds, moves away from the village and returns to the nest where the child first met Trico.
Something moves in the darkness: eyes appear, bright like those of the child's friendly beast. But near that pair of eyes there is another pair, less bright and smaller. If you prick up your ears, you can distinctly hear the cry of a smaller Trico, making its way through the grunts of the two larger ones.
A new Trico was born. This is how the game really ends, with the beasts that manage to procreate and save their species from extinction: a moving ending in which "life wins" and hope.
