Monster Hunter World Iceborne: start off right

Monster Hunter World Iceborne: start off right

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is almost upon us. As happened with the base title, this time too we are present to lend a hand to those who are about to start a new adventure in the New World. In this guide of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne there are some tips to start the expansion of the famous title in the best possible way Capcom.

    Being satisfied is enough

As you will discover once you start the game, you will be introduced to the Master Rank, considerably more badly than the High Rank. In this regard, the difference in height between the Low and High Degrees is decidedly lower than that between the latter and the Master Degree. You will notice that even the first monsters of the new Rank could give you problems: how to act, then?

You will need immediate boosts, no matter how small. Personally, we recommend a basic armor set, as long as it is Master Grade. Even the Bone set, or if you succeed, League, confers a much higher base defense than the post game ones of the High Grade. Unfortunately, then, you will have to part with your most beloved high-grade sets that you have struggled so much for. This is actually a temporary measure, you just need to "adjust" and start making better armor once you make progress in Iceborne.

    Don't be rushed

We know that Iceborne is full of content: new monsters, subspecies and many returns from the past. However, we advise you to resist the temptation to go fast in the storyline and stop in doing all the optional sidequests entrusted by the NPCs. For those who do not remember, the quests entrusted by the NPCs differ with the icon of a bubble next to the name of the mission. Complete them, because they will guarantee you new ingredients for the canteen, a vital component to better face hunts, but not only. Some missions will boost different cloaks and flares that you have obtained in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.

    Get the prey signal

The hunting signal is a new exclusive gadget in Iceborne, whose importance should not be underestimated especially if you decide to face the adventure in Single Player, but the tool can also be used in Multiplayer, if there are less than 4 hunters on a mission. We have made here a detailed guide on how to get the Hunted Signal.

    The resources you always need

Master rank doesn't just mean new weapons and armor. Don't forget that many of the resources you can get by picking and picking are now also of a higher rank. Stock up on minerals in particular, such as Bathycite, Dragonbone Artifacts and the rather rare Crystalline Crystals. Some will be used to craft new equipment, others to activate different skills or forge Talismans, fundamental components for a good set but external to the concept of weapons and armor.

Make the most of the new Selenia

The new Oltremondo settlement, Selenia, has an almost identical function to Astera, but don't forget that the various shops and centers have also been updated. At the Coordination Center, you can update the new requests for hard or heavy armor orbs, great for further upgrading armor. Additionally, as you complete Master Rank quests, you will earn new Bounties. We therefore advise you to eliminate all the sizes of Low and High Grade, except perhaps some that possibly contain FlussoPietre (present only in the High Grade, they differ from the Normal Sizes due to the purple color in the reward boxes, rather than Bronze, Gold or Silver). Talk to all NPCs with a yellow exclamation point above their heads to keep up to date and get new interesting sidequests.
