One of the most anticipated titles for the launch of Xbox Series S / X and PlayStation 5 is, without a doubt, NBA 2K21, sports title developed by Visual Concepts and distributed by 2K.
It is no mystery that, also thanks to an incredible technical sector and an increasingly strong obsessive attention to detail, in recent years the title has started to arrive in more and more "homes", ending up conquering many gamers, not necessarily loyal to the 'NBA. With the arrival of the next-gen, however, the trend seems destined to improve further. After letting us taste, through a gameplay trailer released in recent weeks, an incredible graphic power on PS5 and Xbox Series S / X, which represents a new quality standard, 2K has begun to release more specific details about the production which, we are sure, will only foment the hype of the players.
In particular, Erik Boenisch, creative director of the series stopped to talk about one of the news most important of NBA 2K21 in next-gen version: the city".
The City is our most ambitious vision ever dedicated to the virtual community passionate about basketball. The quantity and variety of buildings and fields that we were able to create and put on the map still amazes me today!
The latter will be, in layman's terms, the new gaming hub, and will replace the much loved (and hated) "Neighborhood". The new hub will be incredibly vast, with many possibilities in playful terms for players and, thanks to the power of the new consoles, will be able to create incredibly full-bodied sessions, with many players all together passionately on screen ready to battle on the pitch or, simply, intent on chatting.
In short: the "City" represents the future of NBA 2K21. Do you hear it? Did the next-gen air get inside you?
