No Man's Sky - How to find and create antimatter

In No Man's Sky there are 18.446.744.073.709.551.616 planets, obviously distributed in different galaxies and planetary systems. To wander among the latter you will need to use hyperdrive and to do this you will need its special fuel: antimatter. This material is among the rarest in the game world and can often be frustrating to search or create.
Follow our guide to becoming a god masters of antimatter.

Qhis rare fuel can be obtained in three ways: buying it from alien merchants, finding it or creating it with much less rare materials.

Where to buy or find antimatter

You can find your first antimatter if you go the Atlas way. The latter will forcibly lead you in front of an antimatter unit, so consider following this path to obtain this precious item.
As you explore the various planets, you will also find supply crates. The crates will often contain common items or will even be empty, but every now and then it could happen that you find very rare objects inside and even antimatter.

The last way to get antimatter without creating it is to buy it from alien merchants scattered around the planets.. Not all merchants sell it and if you find one that can do it, it will probably have only one or maximum 2. You can still buy it for 50.000 units (which you will surely have available since you followed our guide to farm units easily. Right?)

    How to create antimatter

You will need three components to create the fuel:

    1. Electron vapor: This resource can be created using: a suspension fluid (which in turn can be created with 50 units of Carbon) and 100 Plutonium (which can be extracted from practically any planet or purchased from space stations).
    2.  50 units of Eridium: It will be very easy for you to find this material, as it usually is clustered in huge deposits on the surface crust of the planets. The easiest way to find these deposits is to fly over the planet entering the atmosphere and locate colossal and rounded rocks, most likely they will be Eridium deposits. You can also buy it from space stations, but the cost is quite high.
    3. 20 Zinc: Also this can be purchased from space stations, but also very common in the planets themselves. Very often it is hidden inside plants and is perhaps one of the most common materials in No Man's Sky (but it all depends as always on your position in space)
