Koei Tecmo had already teased fans by speculating a western location for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers in financial reports. However, the latest report sent by the company contains no mention of this.
The last hope of seeing Persona 5 Scramble outside the Japanese market appeared in Koei Tecmo's financial report for fiscal year 2019 in April 2020. American and European releases were also mentioned in the Q2020 2020 report in July XNUMX. However Koei Tecmo replaced the report link with a corrected version. In this version there are no mentions to the western releases of the game. Now, in the report, only the Asian release date is left.
The company's latest financial report doesn't even feature mentions of a future localization of the game. Efforts are currently focused on Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, due out worldwide on November 20, 2020. The rest of the titles listed in the presentation will be released by the fiscal year ending March 2021. These titles are: Atelier Ryza 2, Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV Diplomacy and Strategy Expansion Pack, and the new DLC for Nioh 2.
