Sooner or later it would happen and it did, PlayStation 4 is officially out of production in Japan. Sony has confirmed that PS4 will remain on the market with only one model, namely the PS4 Slim. Sony will continue to support PS4 with new content, updates and keeping the production of the "base" model active, but the remaining models are no longer available once stocks are exhausted.
Nothing surprising is the lack of support for the production of PlayStation 4 Pro completely abandoned, just to make room for the new console PlayStation 5. At the moment, the deadline for production in Europe and the United States has not yet been confirmed, but most likely it will not be long in coming.
We remind you that the PS4 models ″ currently ”available on the market are the following:
- PS4 500GB White
- PS4 1TB Black
- PS4 1TB White
- PS4 2TB Black
- PS4 Pro 1TB White
- PS4 Pro 1TB Limited Edition
These models are no longer produced in Japan and the only model left is that PS4 500GB Slim.
