Ever since the PlayStation 5 was announced, everyone knows that in size it will be a console important. However, few thought it could be that big. Thanks to some hardware measurements of the National Communications Commission (NCC) of Taiwan, we now have some close-up pictures showing just how much it is really big the console.
PlayStation 5 will be the largest console in modern history, bigger than theOG Xbox One and bigger thanOG Xbox with the controller Duke. It will also be bigger than the PS3 launch model. Sony released the dimensions of the console at the PS5 event last week, although the show did not include these kinds of revelations.
As noted by The Verge, it will be downright complicated for some to adapt Sony's new console within their layouts. This is also true for Xbox Series X as both consoles were designed to be primarily positioned vertically. It is clearly possible to position them in a traditional way, but the footprint is very large.
If the compartment inside your furniture is too small or too sacrificed for the console, take the time from here to the exit to find a suitable solution: too daring placements always generate problems, especially at cooling. Make sure you always have space at the ventilation slots.
