    Red Dead Online, the multiplayer component of Red Dead Redemption 2, makes a personal upgrade: starting from the beginning of next month it will detach from the mother title for become a standalone game, that is, it does not need the main one to be played.

    From 1 December 2020 to 15 February 2021 Red Dead Online will thus be available for purchase on digital stores for € 4,99, so it will be possible to find it on the Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation and Microsoft Store. After February 15, the game will still be available, but the price will go up to € 19,99.

    Who decides to get on board, will have the contents released so far and future ones included and guaranteed. The official announcement reveals in fact that there are updates on the horizon, starring the role of the Bounty Hunter, who will be enriched with new criminals to find, skills and equipment thanks to 10 new ranks. There will also be new Legendary Bounties and a 100-rank Outlaw Pass.

    The Red Dead Redemption 2 online service was launched in 2019. The beginning involves choosing one of five roles. You can choose to capture criminal gangs as a Bounty Hunter, be in contact with the environment through the Naturalist, hunt animals and become a Trader, search for exotic treasures as a Collector or become a Distiller and produce contraband moonshine.

    Red Dead Online will require approximately 123GB of space and includes the ability to unlock Red Dead Redemption 2: Story Mode (to be purchased separately).
