    Since the launch of PlayStation 5 last November, many users of Samsung TVs have encountered strange issues regarding the use of their television in conjunction with PS5.

    Specifically, it would seem that anomalies in the correct reproduction of images are present every time try to render the signal in 4K HDR, with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

    The South Korean home explained how the problem is absolutely not related to the brand's TVs, adding that Sony will release by next March a PS5 firmware update able to finally correct the display defects encountered by users.


    For now, until the implementation of this fix, Samsung advises its customers not to use HDR and @ 120Hz refresh rate together with PlayStation 5 on their monitors, disabling one or the other feature for optimal video representation.
