Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Guide to Resurrections and Dragon Disease

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Guide to Resurrections and Dragon Disease

Here we are on a new appointment with FromSoftware and the latest form of video game torture they created, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Apparently the only unequivocal point in common with the various Souls and Bloodborne is a world full of things that want (and can) kill you… Like Australia.

In case of death, our protagonist Wolf will lose some of the accumulated experience and half of the coin in his possession, goods that cannot be recovered, so we advise you not to face battles that you are not sure of winning. There is the possibility of receiving a Invisible Help and keep both XP and cash, but the probability is variable: we can consult it by pausing the game or resting at an idol

Let's talk about the Dragon Disease

This very bad disease is closely related to death in Sekiro's world. Basically any NPC you meet on your path can contract this evil, which will manifest itself with violent coughs. The more times you die, the more the disease will spread, a tiny detail that will not only make the game world a sonic landscape of people coughing, but prohibits you from accessing several quests precisely because of the state of health of those who should assign them to you.

Dragon's Disease isn't lethal, or so it seems so far, and there is a cure. Ironically, as the first step in creating the cure, you will have to let it Sculptor contract the disease. When it happens, talk to Emma about it and she will give you a quest to get the cure: all you have to do is bring her the blood of another infected and from this she can synthesize the Dragon's Tear. Using this on the altars you will heal all affections.

You only die once… no, two… maybe three

Despite the title, Sekiro can die up to 3 times. In the lower left corner of the screen you can in fact notice 2 reddish balls representing the number of resurrections that are left there: the first will fill up resting at an altar, the second killing enemies with deadly blows.

When you die you can choose between the acceptance of death or resurrection: in the second case you will "use" the first sphere and a sort of stain will be created on the second, which will render it unusable until the next fatal blow that you will rage.
