Today the game - which is about a group of hackers - would seem to have been the victim of a hacker group in the real world: these people, known by the name of Egregor, would have disseminated the data obtained from the Ubisoft servers on the network, among which the Source code of Watch Dogs Legion.


    The file, which appears to weigh around 560 GB, would allow hackers to crack the anti-piracy measures in the game. At the same time, having the source code available could help the tireless modder, always working to make improvements and additional content. It is not excluded, therefore, that Watch Dogs: Legion may also receive some very refined mods in the coming weeks.

    Ubisoft is not the first victim of this group of hackers, who had already attacked Crytek's servers months ago, revealing how clues related to a Battle Royale project belonging to the Crysis series would have emerged.
