Xbox tweets: PlayStation 5 looks like a great console

It is not news that for Microsoft the console war represents the past. Throughout the marketing campaign of the coming generation, Phil Spencer (and anyone else who intervened) has repeatedly stated how Xbox has gone beyond the concept of generation, de facto disavowing the console war ed on several occasions expressing words of esteem towards its direct competitor: PlayStation 5.

Well, history also repeats itself in the chirps of the official Xbox account. To the tweet in which Microsoft announced the preorder dates, one user responded with a loving farewell chirp in which he declares that he has always been a happy owner of every Xbox console, but that this Christmas he will switch to PlayStation for the first time to be able to play with his friends.

Xbox responded in turn with these words:

You have to make the best choice for you, man. PS5 looks like a great next-gen console and we're happy you have so many happy memories with us.

Even if you don't have to pick up one of our consoles, you can still subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for Android and PC!

In short, a tweet that fully reflects the mature and far-sighted philosophy of the Spencer era: to be present everywhere, regardless of hardware.

Pre-orders for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will start on Tuesday 22 September at 9 am; the release date is November 10, 2020.
