    The Resident Evil and Monster Hunter franchises continue to grind huge numbers, establishing itself as Capcom's largest IPs. The Osaka company has in fact published the sales figures for the third quarter of the current fiscal year, data reporting impressive numbers for both franchises.

    Capcom: Resident Evil and Monster Hunter record-breaking

    In its latest report, Capcom has indeed confirmed that Resident Evil's IP sold a total of 107 million units, up from 100 million 9 months ago. Meantime, total Monster Hunter sales reached 66 million.


    Meanwhile, the future of both series looks brighter, with Monster Hunter Rise coming to Nintendo Switch in less than two months and that Resident Evil Village that made a lot of hype coming out in May.

    In short, Capcom is confirmed as the flagship of the newfound success of the Japanese videogame market.
