Masahiro Sakurai, director of Nintendo's famous and acclaimed Super Smash Bros series, comments on the situation regarding Cyberpunk 2077.
The well-known Japanese director has in fact written a short article in the Japanese magazine Famitsu in which he exposed himself in defense of CD Project RED.
Sakurai expressed great appreciation in fact in the sincerity of the developers of CD Project Red, saying that not all companies would have done so.
As for the game itself, Sakurai has tried the game in its PlayStation 4 Pro and PC versions. He also stated that with the December 20, 2020 patch for PlayStation 4 Pro, he didn't encounter any major problems with the title.
Finally, he closed the article with the following words: "Cyberpunk 2077 is one of my dream games and I was impressed with the work behind it."
