The title finally has a release date!
During the'Xbox & Bethesda Showcase dell'E3 2021, held during the evening of June 13th, one of the most anticipated announcements of recent years has arrived: we are talking about the arrival of the remastered version of Diablo II: Resurrected which, courtesy of Blizzard, was shown in detail via an action-packed new game trailer.
The title, announced during the Blizzcon Online held in February 2021, it will take advantage of the classic gameplay of the action role-playing game that also featured its original version, but in a perfect union with a completely renewed and current graphics. Are you still fond of the graphics of the previous version? Nothing to fear because, in this case, you can easily switch from one to the other, in such a way as to bring to mind all the memories of the first games!
Diablo II: Resurrected It will also feature, as shown in the trailer, by remastered cutscenes, a greater accumulation capacity with regard to the loot obtainable in-game and a shared stash, which all game characters can easily access.
In addition to the passion for the original graphics, do you still have some saves from the previous version of the title and would you like to recover them? Also in this sense, according to what was announced by the team itself behind the title, you will have nothing to worry about: the remastered version will in fact work even with the old saves! This possibility will allow all fans of the title to take advantage of decades-old characters to continue the adventure but, unfortunately, it will be limited - probably for purely logistical reasons, given the availability of the original title in the past - exclusively on PC.
Finally, the movie focused on Diablo II: Resurrected he also wanted to remove the veil of mystery that enveloped the release date. The title will in fact be available for purchase, starting from 23 September 2021, its PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
