The announcement came via the official developer site, in the post it was explained that the first to close their doors will be the shops. The multiplayer will see the shutter lower in a definite way 17st November. After this day, Disintegration will still be available, but only in singleplayer and offline.

Of course, the end of Disintegration multiplayer also means the end of customizable classes. But not only that, also the various maps and modes available in online multiplayer will be eliminated.

    La developer statement it was:

Our base player has proven to be interested in the singleplayer campaign, but we have not been able to make the multiplayer experience interesting for everyone. After thinking about several options, we have decided that the right thing to do is to end multiplayer support.

Not a great start for V1 Interactive, we can only hope that the next is better.
