According to rumors, a new Dragon Quest title will be announced for the 35th anniversary.
The celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the Dragon Quest series story are approaching and Square Enix is ready to celebrate them with a digital event on May 27th.
Yuji Horii, creator of the series, hinted that something very important about "that particular game" could be announced during the event.
Fans quickly understood that "that particular game" could be Dragon Quest XII.
The thing itself would not surprise us very much. On the other hand, Dragon Quest XI has been very well received by both critics and sales, becoming one of the most popular JRPG of recent years.
However, we invite our readers to consider the fact that what has been said is totally ascribed to the world of hypotheses and probabilities.
We don't know, in fact, if Horii was referring to a different game. Surely, the twelfth chapter of the series will arrive sooner or later, but we cannot know with absolute certainty if the game Horii is talking about is Dragon Quest XII.
