We at EpicVideogamesguide.com, therefore, after having "freed ourselves" from various commitments, thanks to a really hot period in terms of releases, we start today with our column dedicated to EA Sports football and in particular to advice to compose the best possible team in FUT in FIFA 19.
Are you ready to work overtime? Today we talk about midfielders ... And there is really a lot of meat on the fire!
Defensive Midfielders
5 - Steven N'Zonzi (82, Rome)
We want to make a premise immediately: for this very delicate role, the choice is really very subjective, so take our advice with due "pliers", since they are based on our personal experience.
For this reason, we find ourselves in fifth place in the ranking Steven N'Zonzi, new acquisition of Roma, which is, objectively, one of the best athletes in that role probably for a large part of the game. The real weak point, however, which actually places it at the bottom of the ranking, is that linked to the Speed (50), really too low and which makes it a valid choice only if you are not so interested in the fastest players for various roles. For the rest, N'Zonzi boasts an amazing 89 to Physicality, an excellent 81 a Defense and a discreet 72 under the heading Steps. A valid choice, therefore, but our advice is to apply the instruction to remain stationary in attack, to avoid being discovered during the opponent's restarts.

4 - Marcelo Brozovic (80, Inter)
Despite a modest overall, Marcelo Brozovic of Inter is one of the best players ever in the entire Fifa Ultimate Team mode, at least as regards the Serie A. Fast enough (70), precise in the Steps And in the dribbling (both 80), the Croatian midfielder represents a very valid choice in the middle of the field, thanks also to a truly minimal cost and an overall quality of all parameters that is truly enviable. Apply a Guardian card to him and you will find yourself in your hands a real jewel, able to score many goals, believe us!

3 - Marco Parolo (82, Lazio)
The director of the Latium is one of the best players in the role, thanks to very high and, above all, complete parameters. Defense (79), Physical (80), Shooting, Dribbling and Passing (all 76), they are the emblem of a total player who has nothing to envy to the big players, at least in terms of performance. The fact that it costs little, then, is really a plus. With the addition of a Spine card it will become a real must have, trust me!

2 - Lucas Leiva (83, Lazio)
Remaining at Lazio, one of the “top” choices in the role is certainly represented by the Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva, formerly of Liverpool, and one of the best exponents of the role. Let me be clear: the parameters do not seem that great, but trust us, once you get on the pitch it will be really difficult to take the ball away from him or avoid having it taken off his very fast feet by pure ball-stealing. Paper Ombre o Spine also for him and away: you have one of the best midfielders in the whole game!

1 - Blaise Matuidi (85, Juventus)
The role of “midfielder” in Serie A has only one lord: Blaise Matuidi, a great midfielder of Juventus and the French national team. All parameters are on the 80, some above and some slightly below, except the Threw, which stops "only" at 68. A real "monster", therefore, both in the field and statistics in hand. It costs a lot, ok, but it's really worth the money.

Central Midfielders
5 - Miralem Pjanic (86, Juventus)
The Bosnian of Juventus does not shine for Physical e Speed (stopped only at 69 and 66) but he represents one of the strongest players technically in the entire production. The fact that he is one of the best set piece shooters around, well, makes him a very attractive prey. It doesn't cost too much but we probably advise against it, unless you play with at least three central players, since it tires easily and does not offer great coverage in defense. In a midfield with rhombus or with three central players in a line, however, it can represent an element of undisputed value.

4 - Marek Hamsik (87, Naples)
Il captain of Napoli, albeit with the highest overall in the role in Serie A, occupies only the fourth place in our special ranking. The reason? Simple: Physical e Speed they are really low (69 and 70) and for this reason the Slovakian midfielder really loses a lot of balls in the middle of the field. In the advanced phase, however, it is a completely different kettle of fish, with a tightrope shot (80), and a superfine technique in the service of the teammates in attack (Passing and Dribbling 84), all seasoned with an excellent 72 in Defense. It is not cheap, and for this reason, we probably recommend that you look elsewhere.

3 - Allan (82, Naples)
In no uncertain terms, Allan is the best player in all of Serie A for value for money. Fast (75), proficient in Defense (82), equipped with an excellent Dribbling (81) and a Physical respectable (80), the Brazilian central competes for it on a par with practically all the big names in the game, resulting in a real extra weapon. It costs very little and we highly recommend it for any type of team. Defects? Too underrated, it should cost more!

2 - Segej Milinkovic-Savic (85, Lazio)
The second place of our "top 5" is occupied by the giant of Lazio, Milinkovic-Savic. Although he did not show great things this year, thanks to a really difficult start, his videogame counterpart remains a real fury, made up of sensational goals, dominance Physical (84) and unmatched game vision (82 Dribbling, 80 Passing). It costs relatively little due to a rather low Speed parameter (69), but believe us: with a good Shadow card it becomes, practically, one of the best around.

1 - Radja Nainggolan (85, Inter)
Numbers in hand, the Belgian midfielder has no rivals: all parameters above 75 and, three out of six above 82. Radja Nainggolan, however, is not only this: Inter's central granite is a real beast in the middle of the field, a player capable, like few others, of tipping the scales on the side of those lucky enough to have him on the team. It costs a lot, and you could probably "make do" with some other player, but our advice is to try and catch it. At all costs.

Attacking Midfielders (AT and COC)
Since in the specific role of attacking midfielder (COC) in our league apart from Paulo Dybala there is very little stuff, we decided to combine the COC and the AT (which are practically the same role) for purely aesthetic reasons and to give more sense to the "Top 5" in question. Let's begin?
5 - Josip Ilicic (81, Atalanta, AT)
Technically speaking (Shot 82, Pass 80, Dribbling 81), one of the strongest and most complete players in our league is undoubtedly Josip Ilicic, a real driver of Atalanta last season and one of the most dangerous offensive athletes in all of Serie A. Add us that it costs very little (it doesn't arrive a thousand credits) and that's it. A highly recommended purchase, therefore, as long as you ignore all the other parameters, which are really low and far from enviable.

4 - Luis Alberto (82, Lazio, AT)
As for Ilicic, a very similar discourse is that concerning Luis Alberto. The Spanish attacking midfielder of Lazio is one of the best players by combination of Passing and Dribbling (85 -84) and he also defends himself very well in shooting, especially from a distance, but he pays the price for really low “secondary” parameters. The real defect of the Spaniard, however, is the stamina: he almost always gets tired in the middle of the game and starts to make half the difference. However, it remains lethal in front of goal and very valid on set pieces: in short, if you want to spend little and get a decent player to turn over, the number ten white and blue is the right man for you.

3 - Alejandro Gomez (84, Atalanta, AT)
The "Papu" Gomez is truly incredible in terms of the combination of Speed (90) and Dribbling (81). If this were not enough, the captain and flag of Atalanta offers an excellent Shooting (76) and excellent game viewing (Steps 81), which make him one of the best players in the role, probably the best, considering the high cost of the two that precede him in the standings. Trust our judgment: buy it, it will also become your flag in no time at all.

2 - Dries Mertens (87, Naples, AT)
The Belgian of Napoli Dries Mertens is one of the best players ever in all of Fifa Ultimate Team and, despite the high cost (but not that much), we would like to urge you to buy as soon as possible. Speed, Dribbling (89, 90), Shooting (83) and Passing (80) they are of a completely off-scale overall level and the performance on the pitch is just as excellent. Save a little something and buy it, you will thank us later!

1 - Paulo Dybala (89, Juventus, COC)
Few stories: in that role there is only one man in charge and it is the “Joya”. Incredible shot, speed, ball control and precise passing like never before (all above 84) make him the perfect player for that position (and not only) of the whole Serie A and, in all probability, of the whole game. It really costs an astronomical figure, and, probably, many (including myself) cannot afford it. But seeing him play is, pass the pun, truly a "Joya".
