PlayStation 5: problems with sleep mode?


    The PlayStation 5 will only come to us on 19st November, but several users in the rest of the world have already got their hands on the new Sony console. Among the first reports, some players have reported issues related to console crash and, specifically, some of these forced closures would seem to be related to rest mode of PS5, with the option that it can be harmful if used while a game is active.



    Several reporters report similar incidents, with crashes also occurring in-game for games like Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales e Demon's Souls, stumbles that we have witnessed firsthand - even if minimally - even during our Twitch broadcasts with the new Sony console, but which are most likely a consequence of the still very short life cycle of the new console.

    Beyond these "random" freezes during the game phases, which we trust will be resolved through upcoming software updates, it would seem prudent to avoid (at least until Sony has fixed this alleged problem) from using rest mode while a game is still active .
