Digital Foundry has made a detailed analysis of Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the adventure and platform video game by Sumo Digital, released on PlayStation 4 e PlayStation 5. In detailing the aspects related to resolution and framerate, Digital Foundry promoted the title, explaining how on both Sony consoles the title is able to take advantage of the canonical 60fps, while the dynamic resolution on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 4 varies.
Digital Foundry explained: “There are cuts from PlayStation 4 Pro which is set to 1080p and the basic version PlayStation 4 which reaches 720p, however, it must be noted that the video game is developed for PlayStation 5, which in fact has a resolution of 1620p using the scaling of the dynamic resolution. We must also consider that the video game is made with Unreal Engine 4 which requires numerous resources. The 60fps scenes on each console look absolutely spectacular. Sackboy is a great gaming experience and a triumph for Sony».
