First, The Division 2 will be officially backwards compatible with PlayStation 5 e Xbox series s/Xbox Series X, consequently there is currently no enhanced version for next-gen. Despite this, the developers still showed several contents arriving as early as September. A first novelty will be the "The Summit" mode, a particular challenge for players who will have to overcome 100 floors full of enemies in waves of increasing difficulty.

The peculiarity of this mode is the ability to save progress every ten floors and then resume also during subsequent sessions, but not before facing a difficult boss fight. Of course, completing the various plans will grant players a series of special and unique rewards that can be used in the rest of the game or during sessions in the Black Zones.
