    It certainly cannot be said that the development of Dying Light 2 has been without its drawbacks, but Techland is continuing to keep players and the press up to date on the game. Very recently, in fact, the Polish software house stated that Dying Light 2 is still under development and that the latter is continuing to proceed.



    Thanks to the statements made to the microphones of Wccftech, moreover, now we know more details on the technical performance of the title. Rendering manager Tomasz Szalkowski confirmed - during the interview - that Dying Light 2 will benefit from Ray Tracing and that it will be able to reach a resolution in 4K and 60 fps on next gen. The developers have also thought about introducing three different modes of use: Quality (with active Ray Tracing), Performance (with more than 60 frames per second) and 4K.

    No further information has been released, however, but Techland seems intent on offering gamers performance on par with the next-gen hardware that will host the title. We remember that at the moment no release date has been announced yet, but Dying Light is still expected by the end of 2021.
