    Attention: This guide is based on the English version of the game, but we hope that our tips will help you in the most difficult situations of this new chapter of Kingdom Hearts. The staff of Epic Videogames Guide wishes you a lot of fun!

    The Starting Land

    The main story begins by showing Terra and Aqua attempting to become Keyblade Masters. You will immediately find yourself facing a battle with a boss:



    Spheres of Light

    This Boss has only 2 types of attacks: it can fly back and forth, injuring you (slightly) if you are nearby and it can shoot lasers all over the room you are in. We advise you to adopt the following tactic: when a sphere attacks you with the laser, dodge it as best you can and then attack the sphere itself to make it stop firing. The orbs move a lot and fast enough, but with Aqua's long-range attack roster you shouldn't have too much trouble. Complete the fight to increase your maximum health and get the Weaver magic formula.

    Once the spheres are defeated you will see an intermission cutscene, then you can start again. At this point you will be able to access the Keyblade screen and the Dimensional Unions of Earth and Aqua, useful for temporarily varying your battle commands and your final moves. Also, never forget that using some Dimensional Unions will completely heal your hit points.

    The Castle of Dreams

    Once you have completed the previous level you will be able to enter this new world. Head up the stairs to meet Prince Charming and Cinderella's family. In this area you will also get the map of the castle. Now continue on your way leaving the castle and head to the Chateau, paying attention to the vases and chests that you will encounter along the way, full of useful items. Once you get to the house, talk to the fairy godmother who will ask you to help the mouse Giac. It is time to face a new battle.



    Escorting Giac

    Your mission will be to escort Giac to Cinderella's wardrobe. We recommend using the Slow skill often, in order to slow down any enemy you encounter and be able to deal with them more easily. Once the bar is filled, use the Weaver spell to launch the respective finishing move and move around in circles to hit as many enemies as possible. Be especially wary of Boxers, the big, big monsters that can form air movements on the ground when they jump.

    At any moment the square button may appear on the screen: press it to protect Giac from an enemy attack. By pressing X instead you will be able, in addition to performing the defensive move, also to counterattack. Try to stay as close to Giac as you can, using your strongest spells to get the better of your opponents. Once you complete your task you will earn the Lampomania style. When Cinderella has recovered her shoe, follow her to face the main boss of this world.

    Cursed Coach

    Before starting the battle, heal yourself completely, since the boss in question is particularly powerful. The enemy is able to spin around as he approaches you: pressing the square button just before being hit will block his advance and counterattack. The boss is also capable of jumping and throwing electric shocks: use the Explosive Ring command to protect yourself, bearing in mind that when the enemy hits your barrier he will become vulnerable, allowing you to hit him.


    This boss is able to throw small monstrous creatures at you: do not care too much about them and continue to attack the main enemy, as the monsters are small and slow and will give you little trouble. Hit them and kill them to get rid of them.


    The boss will also try to swallow you: if you manage to be behind him when he makes this move, you will have time to hit him while he is turned. If you find yourself in his mouth, press X repeatedly to free yourself. A last type of attack that you will have to face, finally, is given by the bombs that the boss will throw at you while it is in flight: in this case you will not be able to counterattack, so simply try to keep moving to avoid the explosions and minimize the damage.

    Finally, here are the data of the Boss: HP 250, attack 7, defense: 3; status to which it is vulnerable: Chaos. Successfully complete the fight to increase your maximum HP, get Cinderella's Dimensional Union and the Crystalline keyblade. At this point you can choose how to continue your adventure: our advice is to return to the Starting Land to open the 4 chests in the prologue area and collect the objects they contain. Then continue towards the forest of the dwarves.

    The Wood of the Dwarves

    At the beginning of the level you will have to go to the castle and seek help to wake up Snow White. If you have the Great Jump or Air Rush ability, open the chest located in the upper northeast corner of the courtyard, otherwise go straight to the next area. Watch out for containers that change color: hitting them when they are red they will explode, taking away energy; hitting them while they are green will give you some HP; hitting them while they are blue will eventually recharge your D-union bar.


    You will also encounter some wheels, to be hit to open the various grates that block your way: if you enter all the rooms you will find many useful objects, including the magic formula Fire. Continue into the next room being careful not to fall (otherwise use a jet of steam to retrace your steps), then use the newly learned Fire skill against the furnace to activate a jet of steam that will allow you to reach the platform in the center of the room. It's time for a boss battle.


    Spirit of the magic mirror

    The spirit of the magic mirror will fly around the room randomly, trying to hit you: protect yourself with the Explosive Ring ability. When the boss comes out of the ground he will launch an ice attack at you: dodge it and run towards the enemy to counterattack (this attack is usually repeated 3 times in a row), keeping in mind that if you are hit your character will go into confusion and will not respond correctly to the check for a few seconds.

    During the battle a series of spirits will appear around you and spit fireballs at you - just run straight to avoid them. If in the meantime you notice a smiling spirit, attack it to stop the attack immediately. The boss will use the same tactic by making other duplicates appear around you, also capable of breathing fire. Protect yourself with a barrier and always look for the smiling ghost: he is the original boss to attack.

    The boss has 300 HP, while his attack and defense values ​​are 11 and 4 respectively; it is vulnerable to chaos, poison and sleepiness. Complete the fight to get an extra slot in the command console, Snow White's Dimensional Union and the Seven Mine keyblade.

    The Enchanted Domain

    You will now find yourself outside the evil witch's castle. Go over the bridge to the entrance, then open the chest near the door to the north (there are more, but they are currently inaccessible). During the exploration of the castle you will meet many soldiers-pigs: they can cause you some annoyance especially when they attack in groups, but attack them with elemental spells (Fire, Blizzard and Thunder) and you will certainly have the better of them.

    As soon as you enter the castle you will fall into the prison area. To escape, all you have to do is continue on the only way available, fighting the soldiers who will block your way. Once you have escaped open the chest (there are two, but at the moment the other one might be difficult to reach with your current abilities), then go to the wicked witch's throne to start the battle.

    Escape from Maleficent Castle

    The exit will be blocked and you will be submerged by the soldiers: you will have to defeat them all before you can continue. Finish the fight to get the Great Jump ability. Heal often and take cover behind walls to minimize damage. Once you have defeated all the opponents, Philip will guide you to a spot on the wall: press square and then X to use the hole you create to climb. You will find a wheel: hit it with the keyblade to open the door that blocks your way. Repeat the operation a second time (there are actually two doors) and you can continue. Warning: during this sequence be ready to press X with the right timing, otherwise soldiers will appear that you must defeat before making another attempt. Once you have gained your freedom, continue through the forest to the bridge, where you will fight the end-of-level boss.

    Maleficent Dragon

    The boss will stand at the other end of the bridge and will be able to perform the following attacks: spit her green fire all over the bridge (the only way you can avoid it is to be behind her at the moment of the attack), bite you , jump generating electric waves, throw yourself on the ground and hit you by falling on you (even if you are in flight). Use the Explosive Ring command to protect yourself as much as possible and counterattack in the moments of pause between one attack and another of the boss. Keep in mind that, in the right position, you can activate the square + X combo with Philip and stun the enemy and then hit him without risking being injured. Last tip: the dragon can also fly and land on the opposite side of the bridge, so try not to get caught unprepared when she performs this move: if you manage to be just behind her when she hits the ground, you can hit her with a combo.

    After the strategy, here are the boss values: 600 HP, Attack 11, Defense 4, with no particular resistance or weakness to magic. Shoot it down to increase your maximum health and to earn the Fire Storm command, Xehanort's report No. 6 and the Astro Fairy keyblade.

    Radiant Garden

    Continue along the only available path to reach the gardens and encounter two new types of enemies: plants that will attack you from afar and spherical monsters that explode before they die. Always try to attack the first ones closely after reaching them as quickly as possible; the latter must instead be hit from behind, in order to deflate them and thus prevent them from exploding, making the fight easier. Continue to Ansem Castle to meet Mickey and a young Kairi. The most famous mouse in the world will help you defeat a group of enemies that will appear, after which you will conquer his D-union and the Destiny's Embrace keyblade. Continue following the giant monster to start the next battle.

    Triarming

    This boss is the reinterpretation of an enemy already present in previous Kingdom Hearts: you will have to defeat each piece of armor separately. At the beginning of the fight the boss will throw fireballs into the air, which will fall to the ground a few seconds later splitting into smaller balls: attack him while he throws them, then use the Explosive Ring ability to protect yourself. The armor will also use 2 other types of attack: it will hit a party member directly, or it will fire a laser from the center of the room. Either way, use a barrier to protect yourself or avoid the attack by standing behind the boss, then attack him as he recovers before the next attack.

    In a second moment, the various pieces of armor will attack you individually: they will whirl around you, your feet will try to trample you, they will shoot lasers towards the center of the room, the head will shoot fireballs. Also, when you have defeated some pieces, the remaining ones may merge together to attack you with the laser already used in the first phase of the fight. Take cover and attack being particularly careful when the pieces try to hit you by spinning whirlwind, as it is the attack that can cause you the most damage. Keep in mind that you will have to destroy the head last, since at some point, if there are other pieces alive, it stops taking damage even if you hit it.

    This boss has 800 HP for each part; its attack and defense values ​​are respectively 14 and 6. Once you defeat the armor you will increase your maximum health and you will earn the Blade Charge command and the ticket to the Disney Town. Proceed to the new area (go through the aqueduct) and open the chests you will find near the fountain (you will have to be pushed up by the water jet) to collect the Counter Impact ability. Continue to meet the Wizard Merlin, enter his house and examine the book to get the Honey Jar board. Exit and return to the courtyard, where a new boss awaits you.

    Vanitas Round 1

    The boss will attack you directly with a two-hit combo, throw slow fireballs at you, form lightning bolts by jumping on the ground, and try to trick you by forming an image of himself to appear behind you. The tactic to beat the enemy quickly is to stay close to him (that way he won't jump to create the lightning strikes), use the Explosive Ring to take cover and Counter Impact (by pressing X at the right moment) to counter. If you need to heal yourself during combat, do so immediately after one of his attacks, or you risk not being able to cast the spell before the next attack.

    Here are the boss values: 550 HP, Attack 14 and Defense 6. He is also vulnerable to many altered statuses: chaos, fixity, spark, poison, sleepiness, zero gravity and magnet. Complete the fight successfully to get an additional slot in the command console.

    Disney Town

    To complete the level you simply have to play a game of Fruitball, but you can stop in this area and complete other mini-games to earn rewards. There are also several chests in the level, which you will mostly find in the sewer area. Right here you will find a machine with the symbol of a lightning bolt: hit it with some electric attack to recharge it and activate it. Continue on your way and jump on the moving platforms trying to reach all the chests, then continue to the giant pinball machine. Collect everything you can also on this occasion, then continue towards the end of the level. If you have already completed the game with at least two other characters you will see an extra cutscene, otherwise you will simply get the Game Board as a reward.

    Mount Olympus

    The level starts with a series of enemies to take down. There is only one road, so you just have to go straight. Talk to Phil to gain access to the colosseum and start a battle.

    Tournament of Mount Olympus

    You will have to defeat 10 waves of enemies within a time limit, so organize your commands so that you always have a magic available to heal you and your most powerful attacks to be able to get rid of enemies quickly. Once you are successful in this test you will see your maximum health increase. Continue to start the battle against Zack.

    Zack

    This boss is easy to dodge and is also vulnerable to Explosive Ring and Counter Impact. He will attack you with normal combos, throw lightning at you and jump creating zone attacks like other bosses. Take cover during his attacks, then hit him immediately before the next attack. The values ​​of the boss are: 600 HP, attack 16 and defense 9; it is vulnerable to various statuses, including chaos, fixity, spark, poison, and zero gravity. Once you defeat Zack you will be rewarded with an additional slot for the command console. Talk to Phil again to start a new fight in the Colosseum.

    Colossus of Ice and Hades

    Don't worry about Hades, as he will only attack you later. Instead, focus on the ice colossus, which as soon as it starts walking will generate shock waves from its feet. This enemy also generates the same shocks by beating his fists on the ground, while he is able to throw ice bullets at you and freeze you with his breath. Try to stay as close to him as possible, and hit him in the ankles: in that position he will not be able to reach you with his attacks, and you will get the better of him very easily. The values ​​of the boss are: 400 HP, attack 16 and defense 9; the monster is also vulnerable to fire attacks, but resistant to Blizzard and Thunder spells.

    Once the colossus has fallen, it will be the turn of Hades, who will attack you with classic combos, fireballs and with a particular spin attack during which he will be invincible. Except for this last attack, the others can be interrupted by dealing damage to the enemy, so stand on him and hit him until he flashes red (a sign that he will soon be performing the spin attack), then back off, dodge and attack again. new. Hades has 450 HP, 16 attack points and 9 defense points; it is vulnerable to fixed status, but resistant to Fire, Blizzard, Thunder and Blackout attacks.

    Once the enemies are defeated, you will get the Diamond Dust command, the Heroic keyblade and the Dimensional union of Zack. If you want to get the Sonic Blade as well, you'll need to go back and talk to Hercules to face the Amphora Breaker mini-game.

    Absolute Space

    This level also begins with a short battle against a small group of enemies. After the battle, the council chairwoman will ask you to find Stitch and Doctor Jumba. Continue to the only available way to reach the ship and face a battle.

    Planefasti

    During this fight you will be on the Keyblade Bike. Press the triangle button to attack and try to dodge the enemy attacks. The battle is simple and you should have no problem completing it. Finish the test to get the Air Dash skill. Now go back to the ship's hold and clear the area of ​​all enemies. You should now be able to use the transporter in the center of the room to reach the planet Turo. Continue on to encounter Stitch and a few other enemies to take down in an event battle.

    With Stitch's help the battle should be easy and painless. Defeat all the enemies that appear in front of you to get an increase in your maximum health, then move on.

    Once the battle is complete, retrace your steps and talk to the council chairwoman again, who will allow you to pass through the southeast exit. Before continuing, you can still return to Turo to open the chests in the prison area, where you could find various useful items. Go back and enter the ship's hub, where using the computers present you can remove gravity and make very high jumps. Without gravity the chests in the area will float preventing you from opening them, so reactivate it temporarily if you want to collect the objects contained in them, then remove it again to reach the exit at the top of the room. Once outside, get ready for the end-of-level battle.

    Captain Gantu

    The boss will shoot you with his ray gun using two different types of attacks and will try to hit you with his bare hands if you are nearby. Take cover and counterattack immediately after his attack to buy time. If you distract Gantu with Stitch you will also be able to carry out combos: when the little alien jumps to attract your attention, run close to him and press square and then X to throw him at the boss, then immediately ring one or two consecutive combos.

    Here are the boss values: 600 HP, attack 19, defense 12; it is only vulnerable to poison status. Finish the fight to get an extra slot for the command console, Experiment 626 Dimensional Union, and the Hyperenergic keyblade.

    Neverland and Destiny Islands

    You will start the level in the Indian camp. Use the trampoline to reach the top of the totem pole and hit it to get Thundaga. Then continue into the jungle and enter Peter Pan's hideout (it's in the big tree) to collect the items contained in the chests. Once you reach the Mermaid Lake, enter the cave in the northeast corner of the map to find another chest (you'll need to jump into the water to reach it). Retrace your steps and talk to Peter, who will ask you and his lost children to fly up the waterfall. Peter will bring up some orbs to use: jump on them to be catapulted up and succeed in the enterprise. In the next section you just have to pay close attention not to fall (or you will start your path from the beginning): your goal is the exit on the left. Complete the path to get the Doubleflight ability, then return to the Indian village to face a boss.

    Vanitas Round 2

    You will have to fight Vanitas with the same strategy used previously (stay close to him, take cover and hit as soon as you can), bearing in mind that in this fight the boss will have a few more attacks available and will be more resistant. This time the boss will have 550 HP, 23 attack points and 14 defense points; will be vulnerable to many altered statuses, including chaos, fixity, spark, sleepiness, poison, and zero gravity. Finish the fight and you will see your maximum health increase, as well as gaining the Ghost Drive style, Peter Pan Dimensional Union, and the Pixie Petal keyblade.

    Mysterious Tower

    Open all the chests, then continue up the stairs until you meet Master Yen Sid. You will get Donald and Goofy Dimensional Unions, as well as Xehanort's report number 4.

    Keyblade Cemetery

    Open all the chests and move on. Watch out for tornadoes - if one of them catches you, you'll be forced into a fight against several enemies before you can continue. Once you have passed this section you will meet the last save point of the game: use it and get ready for the final battle.

    Braig

    Braig will teleport directly in front of you to attack you with quick hits, then teleport again or blow up to avoid your counterattack. You should be able to hit it by hooking it (by pressing L + R) just before it disappears: this way you can attack as soon as it reappears. You can also attack the boss as soon as he lands after a jump, since he will take a few seconds to recover. Also pay attention to the lasers that Braig will launch low shot: avoid them by running along the edge of the arena and do not get too close to avoid being hit.

    Here are the boss values: 750 HP, 26 attack points and 15 defense points; no particular vulnerability to spells or elemental damage, so attack him with normal combos and don't waste your magical powers. Once the fight is over you will see your maximum health increase.

    Vanitas Round 3

    Aqua's story ends with another fight against Vanitas. The boss will attack like in previous fights, but this time he will be more powerful thanks to the X-Blade. The good news is that you will have Mickey Mouse by your side (unless you have yet played as Ven), which thanks to the classic combination square + X will allow you to perform a very effective combined attack. In any case, the best strategy is to try to stay behind the enemy and attack him from behind when he cannot hit you. If you need to heal, do it only after dodging an attack, otherwise Vanitas will hit you before you manage to complete the spell.

    This time Vanitas will have 100 HP and his attack and defense values ​​will be 26 and 15 respectively. Follow our strategy and attack with normal combos, since the boss has no particular vulnerability to magical attacks.

    Once the fight is complete you will get Xehanort's report number 7 and have completed Aqua's story. Restart the game with a new save (don't overwrite Aqua's) to experience the other parts of the adventure.
