OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi united for file sharing

This will allow users to exchange files, images and videos without the need for an internet connection, underscoring how OPPO and its innovative operating system - ColorOS - are open to collaborating with other platforms.

    The agreement will bring faster and more intuitive sharing to OPPO, vivo and Xiaomi users.     The file transfer function scans devices using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) which boasts a wider range and lower power consumption, and streams files using P2P (Peer to Peer) Wi-Fi technology, which is faster Bluetooth but does not compromise users' Wi-Fi connectivitythe.     On OPPO smartphones with ColorOS 7, users can swipe down on the home screen to open the menu where they will find the “OPPO Share” button, which they will have to long press to start it.
