Philips introduces 49-inch SuperWide monitors

    Features of the new Philips 32P9 Brilliance 498: 9 SuperWide Curved LCD Monitor include a huge 49-inch display with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, ideal for replacing two 1440-inch 27: 16 QHD (9p) monitors. Thanks to the 1800R curvature, the monitor in question has a wide field of view that immerses the user in his own experience of use.

    The 498P9 model features a VA panel with a native contrast ratio of 3000: 1 and a regular refresh rate of 70Hz. The monitor also offers high DeltaE <2 color accuracy, along with a wide color gamut that covers 121% sRGB and 91% AdobeRGB color gamut. MultiView technology is integrated into the display, which means the monitor can be connected to two systems simultaneously with dual active connection and display for more efficient and productive workflows.

    In terms of connectivity, the Philips 498P9 Brilliance is equipped with DisplayPort, HDMI and USB 3.2. An integrated MultiClient KVM switch, used in conjunction with the MultiView feature allows users to control two separate devices simultaneously with a single keyboard, mouse and monitor to save desk space. Users can simply switch between systems with the push of a button.

    Philips 498P9 Brilliance is also equipped with ergonomic features, including a compact Ergo base that offers intuitive rotation and height adjustment for maximum comfort, combined with other features such as LowBlue mode and Flicker-Free technology to reduce the eyestrain. The 498P9 also meets environmental standards including EnergyStar 8.0, EPEAT, RoHS, TCO certified and is available in 100% recyclable packaging.



    The Philips 32P9 Brilliance 498: 9 SuperWide Curved LCD Monitor will be available for purchase starting August 2020, priced at £ 749.
