Super Mario Sunshine: GameCube Controller support

If you are a particularly nostalgic and old-school gamer, Nintendo's latest update for Super Mario 3D All-Stars is sure to make you relive the good old days. The Japanese company has recently released an official update for the Super Mario 3D collection on Nintendo Switch, specifically dedicated to Super Mario Sunshine.

The update in fact allows you to use the GameCube controller to play, which must be connected to the console with the appropriate adapter. This special function is only available when using Nintendo Switch connected to the TV and then placed in the appropriate dock. Unfortunately, for this very reason, GameCube controller support is not available on Nintendo Switch Lite.

Thanks to this special function you can therefore enjoy Super Mario Sunshine to the "maximum of nostalgia". Also update 1.1.0 for Super Mario 3D All-Stars also implemented the inverted camera for all the games in the collection.

Recall that the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection released last September is available now on Nintendo Switch and proposes three of the best titles dedicated to the iconic plumber who made young and old fall in love, namely Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Sunshine.

The update released by Nintendo for the support to the GameCube controller represents a real return to origins and an excellent opportunity for newbies to enjoy historical titles "the old way".
