How to share Spotify songs, playlists and podcasts on desktop
The ability to quickly share across platforms on the desktop is limited, although it gets the job done. You get a link to the media that you can then send to someone else outside of Spotify.
- Go to what you want to share; through the home page, search, your playlists and so on.
- To share an album or playlist, click three horizontal points up. To share a song or podcast, right click .
- click on Share .
- click on Copy track link .
- Go to the location where you want to share the link, for example WhatsApp or email. Therefore paste the link. Your friend can then click the link and it will launch support on Spotify.
How to share Spotify songs, playlists and podcasts on mobile devices
On mobile devices, Spotify makes it easy to share on your favorite social apps. You don't need to copy any links if you don't want to, even if the option is still available.

- Touch the three points . It's at the top for albums and playlists, or next to songs or podcasts.
- Toccata Share .
- Choose a social app like WhatsApp , Instagram o Twitter . This will automatically send the link to that app. Alternatively, press Copy link to put the link on the clipboard, which you can then paste elsewhere.
