GALAX introduces the GTX 1650 Ultra

It has been a long time since new variants of the GTX 1650 based on TU106 (RTX 2060 / RTX 2070) are about to be launched on the market and apparently the producer Galax has kicked off the dance by presenting the “GTX 1650 Ultra”. The card has 896 Shader Core e GDDR6 da 4 GB, rather similar to a normal GDDR6 GTX 1650.

The TU106 core may have been carved from the RTX 2070 albeit massively revised, reducing its amount of Shader Core by 60% and the memory bus a 128 bit. The denominator TU106-125 is assigned to the GPU used. The video card does not have any RT Core o Tensor Core and shares the same boost a 1590MHz of the normal GTX 1650, therefore having the same amount of shader core, graphics memory and the same frequencies, it is practically the same VGA with some tweaks and the “Ultra” name.

The GTX 1650 Ultra exhibits a TDP of 90 W compared to 75 W of the standard GTX 1650. The Ultra suffix is not an nvidia trademark, but was applied directly by Galax.
