One of the most important and frequent procedures in Monster Hunter World is to improve your parameters by crafting new weapons or armor. However, there is a way to add some attack and defense to your hunter permanently, for the modest sum of 120,000 zenny and two items that can be obtained from a monster. If you have played some of the previous Monster Hunters you will already know that we are referring to two talismans that can be combined with the spurs of the Deviljho, a creature not yet present in World but which will be available during the month of March. This time it will be the Bazelgeuse to give us the spurs we need and in this guide we will explain step by step how to add up to a total of 30 more attack and defense.
- Purchase the Talisman of Strength and the Talisman of Defense: These two items can be found in the supply center once you have progressed sufficiently in the story. The first increases Attack by 12, while the second increases Physical Defense.
- Defeat one or two Bazelgeuses to get 2 Spurs: This monster will only be available once the High Rank is unlocked. If you don't have missions whose objective is Bazelgeuse we recommend that you do a couple of optional High Rank expeditions or missions and defeat him as soon as he appears.

As you can see in the image above there is no need to break a specific part of the monster to get the spur, but you will have to rely on the carving or the rewards at the end of the mission.
- Combine a Talisman of Strength and a Talisman of Defense with two Bazelgeuse Spurs: in this way you will get two new items with greater effectiveness. They are called Demonic Spur and Defense Claw and increase Attack and Defense by 18 instead of 12, respectively.

- Purchase a Talisman of Strength and a Talisman of Defense again and put them in the bag along with the claws: You'll be happy to know that the talismans stack with the two claws, so buy them again the talismans and put them in your bag to receive a total of +30 to your base attack and defense value. You will have to shell out 60,000 zenny again for the talismans but if the money is not enough you can consult this other guide to earn zenny with ease.
