There are many ways to level up and gain experience, which is very important in Anthem as it is the level determines the number of Javelins you have and the strength of your weapons, ergo of your character.
The first thing to do is to complete the Story missions, which will first of all give you access to a good amount of loot and, secondly, the ability to level thanks to the XP received as a reward. It is also useful to invest some time in completing the contracts that you will find on the various message boards and in Fort Tarsis. You can then earn experience points in Free Play mode and with Stronghold missions.
Anthem also has an extensive crafting system, centered around 3 key materials: the Weapon parts Chimeric League and Chemical Compound. The Weapon Parts are obtained from the dismantling of weapons and from the various containers, while Lega and Compound Chimerici will be "produced" by the demolition of the pieces of equipment; for Javelin pieces you will obviously have to dismantle Javelin. Even if you have the necessary materials to craft any item, you can't do anything without the related Blueprint: they can be rare, epic or mythic, and require you to complete Faction challenges and unlock Champion of Tarsis challenges. .
Once this is done, you will gradually get to obtain Weapon Seals, Components for Weapons and Armor, Elemental Components and Javelin Skills.
Finally, to craft the new equipment you have to do is go to the Forge and get to work.
