    PROLOGUE
    You will begin your adventure in a courtyard of Acre where you will have to face a multitude of men until they finish and a ship will appear on which you will have to go up to reach a corridor on the left: go along it and after a scene that will take place in the next open space you will face the first boss

    Boss: Death
    It will be an extremely quick and easy fight. Your enemy has few attacks, only one of which you cannot block, which is the one where he raises the scythe high and violently slams it to the ground to create a short-range shock wave, so you just need to stay away from him for a moment when you see him positioning himself that way.

    After having damaged it a little, you will be grabbed: repeatedly press the key that will appear at the top of the screen and once free resume attacking it until a key appears on its head: press it and do the same with the other two that you will see appear . At this point it is you who have the scythe in your hand and you will have to give the final blow to the enemy; a couple of hits will suffice and then the button to press will reappear on his head and then two more.

    You will now witness Dante's return home where, however, there will be a nasty surprise waiting for him and you will have to immediately withdraw your weapons to face the slaves. Once the passage has opened for you, reach the church, outside of which you will find a green fountain to restore health and a save point, and enter the building where you will witness another scene at the end of which more will appear. enemies: try to stay where you are as the floor will start to collapse but the platform you are on is safe. Once the enemies are finished, go up on the cross and go down the column of bodies on the left, you will find yourself on a corridor where you will have to eliminate all the slaves in order to open the gate at the end of the path and be able to save yourself before being crushed by the wheel that comes from behind. Jump to the clearing below where the way will be blocked again, this time by a cross in flames: use the divine Scourge to materialize the burning bodies of the enemies and then the scythe to destroy them, the road will now be free but for a short time as other enemies will arrive : beware of the flames coming out of the columns on the wall as they will damage you if you are hit. Continue to the save point and go down further to get to know Virgil but you will also have to face some slaves and then a new enemy, the asterian beast: hit him from a distance with the attacks of the cross and you will have no problem. After having damaged it enough, a key will appear on his head, press it and do the same with the other three that will appear later. You will now be the master of the beast: use it first to destroy the surrounding fountains and slaves, then to open the gates of Hell.

    SCOGLIERA D'ACHERONTE
    Save your game and move on the wall of the damned to the left until you find Virgilio (talk to us twice to receive the first relic, the Death Blade), take the first one silver coin From the fountain high on the wall, continue forward and pull the lever on the right which will activate a bridge. Before crossing it, however, you will have to face some enemies: take them out and pull the lever again, move quickly on the bridge and jump to the opposite side. Go down the column of bodies and, once landed, you will meet a new enemy or the guardian devil: hit him with the ranged attack until the button appears on his head, at this point absolve him or condemn him to receive 100 points in the respective bars. Once all the enemies have been killed, the lever will reappear, turn it to raise the platform but instead of stopping in front of the shiny door, continue up to retrieve a silver coin on a ledge to the left. Open the door and you will find yourself Virgilio, go to the left where you will be stopped by a new fight and before opening the next door approach the man kneeling to his left, Pontius Pilate: this is the first of damned that you will encounter in the game and it will be up to you to decide whether to absolve or condemn them. The fact is that in acquiring them you will participate in a mini-game in which you will have to capture as many sins as possible. You will see a cross with the four action keys in the center of the screen, depending on the direction in which the orange spheres will arrive you will have to press the corresponding key to capture them, the more you take the more bonus souls you will have at the end. Now open the door and watch the scene, defeat the slaves and the devils guardians to be able to go out and save the game, but not before having recovered a silver coin from the fountain hidden behind the statue holding the rope.

    Jump on the latter and move forward, once it is cut you will find yourself on the ferry: move to the right and, instead of climbing towards the entrance, continue to the right, beyond the gap between one wall and the other, until you find a sort of dog that, once destroyed, will give you the second relic. Go back and enter the boat, take the chest on the left side of the room and drag it up the ramp to the right, putting it inside the recess, then pull the bridge back by turning the lever and then move the chest to the left to reach a fountain in the side. high containing a silver coin. Return the chest to the bridge and make it go back to be able to reach the upper floor where you will find a damned, climb the wall and you will find yourself on the deck of the ship, where you will have to fight against slaves, plagues and guardian devils. Finished with these an Asterian beast will appear, defeat it and take possession of it to use it first against the other enemies that will arrive and then to take the head off Charon. Once this is done, the ferry will collide with columns on which you will find yourself hanging, climb quickly upwards going right and left in the blind spots to avoid falling into the void. Once you get to the top, pay attention to the three keys to press to get to safety, but it's not over yet: move immediately towards the corridor because the floor will collapse and when you arrive in front of two torches Dante will stop; wait until a button appears to press and by doing so you will save yourself.

    LIMBO
    Save the game and talk to Virgilio, continue the path down and in the corridor grab the explosive slave and throw him against the wall to open a passage, enter the tunnel and at the fork go left to retrieve a silver coin, go back and approach Charon's head, knock it down to receive extra souls; finally arrive at the end of the path where you will find a fountain containing the first of Beatrice's stones while destroying the dog next to it to get a new one relic. Now go back and open the door on the right, in the next room you will have to face some unbaptized children and once finished continue the path until you find Virgilio: Talk to him twice and you will have a new one relic. Now go through the next door and the next door to find a new one damned, go back and start up the slope where you will meet some explosive slaves. When you reach the top, open the door and follow the corridor until you are stopped by another fight, enter the next room where you will find Virgilio and the statue of Saladin. Approach the green fountain at the top and you will notice that the shot will change: double jump back to get to a platform with a lever, pull it to make the Saladin statue disappear and reveal a hideout with a dog to destroy. Save the game and pull the lever, use the scythe on the handhold to reach the platform in front where you will have to face a new boss

    Boss: King Minos
    In the first phase, keep running to avoid the tentacle that will come out of the floor until the button to hook you will appear that you will need to grab a handhold and avoid an attack with which King Minos will inflict damage on you by screaming. Attack his head, now lowered, and soon after, once he is up, quickly go and attack the red part on his body to inflict further damage. You will now have to face some slaves and then the initial part with the tentacle will be repeated. At the end of this, avoid the punches by jumping and dodging (you can hit him using the attack with the cross in flight); at a certain point you will notice that the monster will stop and a button will appear on its hand, press this and the following ones to make the red part of its body to be hit again uncovered.

    Kill the unbaptized babies and the guardian devil, then dodge the punches again until the safety button appears again on the handhold. Now there is nothing left to do but continue to rage on him (if he makes a tentacle appear, pay attention to where you have to pull the lever to avoid the hit) until the button pops up again, this time on his face: press it to grab the tongue and press the left stick down twice then the key that will follow and finally the last one to press repeatedly with which you will end the fight. You will get a new one relic and you can continue on your way.

    LUST
    Use the handhold to exit the combat arena and follow the path until you find a save point. Climb the rope and swing to reach the other one, but before continuing, stop and climb the one you are hanging from to find a fountain with a silver coin. Go back to the rope and go down but a little, always keeping the frame up: press the button to swing and you will notice two columns of bodies on the right, do a double jump and quickly press the button that will appear to cling to the column. Climb it and you will find a dog to destroy, thus obtaining a new one relic. Get off the right column and pass the rope; fly to another column and then to a new top: swing twice and use the scythe, still clinging to the rope, to destroy the huge chain blocking your way, then jump to the opposite side and press the button to use the hold and swing to the rope in front, where you will be attacked by pests. Take care of it as you did with the chain and reach the column at the bottom from which you will finally return to put your feet back on the ground.

    You absolve the damned (to get the trophy / objective together with the next one) that you will find on the road and continue until you reach a bridge, avoid the electric spheres and reach the third statue on the left, go to the side and approach the edge towards the bottom of the screen; in doing so Dante will cling to a wall that will take you to an open space where you will find a new one relic. Go back and go to the fourth statue, always on the left, go down on the side without protection to find yourself on another wall from which you can reach a fountain with a silver coin. Now go between the third and fourth statue on the right to notice the lack of protection here too, go down the wall and you will come to a fountain containing the second stone of Beatrice. Once you have everything, go to the second statue where you will find a lever, pull it when the sphere of electricity forms on the third disk then immediately run towards the tornado before the opening you created disappears.

    You will meet a new enemy, the lustful temptress, whom you can safely take care of using the cross, then use the lever to open the snake's mouth and quickly break its teeth with the cross. Go back to the winch and turn it completely to free a stone that will allow you to reach the next floor, where you will find Virgilio. After the scene, go to the bottom of the circular platform and take the statue out of the niche, go back and go down the ramp on the left, where you will find a save point, and use the lever to raise the previous platform: go up and go to the left side where you will find a clearing with a fountain containing a silver coin. Go to the opposite side and pull the lever, immediately return to the platform that will go up and you will have to face some lustful tenatrices: be careful now, as the platform will be turned by a hostile punch and you will have to be quick to press the button to escape to safety handhold, after which you will return to the disk where you will have to face other enemies again. At the end of the journey you will have to immediately resume fighting with slaves and unbaptized children until you can rage on the left hand of the giant woman: damaged enough she will release her grip and the platform will rise slightly, take advantage of this moment to reach the lever in the left side, above the purple fountain, to turn the snake heads towards her, then go back and give her a few more strokes on the hand to make the disc rise again and this time pull the right lever to toast it a bit.

    You will go up again and you will have to deal with lustful and pested temptresses but finally your climb will end. Take the right path, where you see the orange fountain, and go down the column to find a damned (acquit it for the trophy / objective), go back and this time go left, where you will have to overcome a long wall of damned to the right avoiding the purple electric discharges. At the end you will find a save point: going left you will find a fountain with one silver coin, while going right first you will encounter one damned and then, falling off the wall down beside her, a new one relic. Now climb the wall of the damned behind where the damned was and you will take part in a duel.

    Boss: Marco Antonio
    Nothing difficult: stay away from him to avoid his sword and shield blows by continuing to attack him with the cross. When you see the character stop and a green flow envelop him you will not be able to hit him but in return he will heal himself; attack Cleopatra's hand to make it disappear for a short time and be able to resume the fight with your enemy. The further the fight goes on, the more powerful the hostile attacks will become:
    - a jump attack when you are far from the target;
    - a ranged attack via a wave of energy emanating from the sword;
    - a ranged attack in the wake that starts from Antonio and follows one or more straight lines.
    However, the fight will not last long and should not give you any particular problems, in the end you will get a new one relic.
    Finished with the man it is the turn of the woman, but this time there will not be a real duel but a sequence in which you will have to pull or turn the left stick according to the symbols that will appear on the screen. After this phase you will get a new enchantment.

    The platform where you are now will begin to descend, you will face some slaves and guardian devils and, once defeated, a large boulder will destroy the right side of the disk. Save yourself by going to the other side. Now other guardian devils will arrive and then a boulder this time in the left side and immediately after one in the lower part: stay in the upper area of the circle until you find yourself falling into the void. Wait until the button to press appears with which you will cling to a handhold and then you will have to swing using the scythe twice until you arrive in the presence of Virgilio.
