Niantic has decided with its Pokémon GO to divide players from all over the world into three different teams. The three teams in question were in fact created to divide the community and make the gyms contend. Each gym can be controlled by one team at a time, and members of that team can upgrade it by increasing its maximum prestige and adding Pokémon in its defense.
Each team represents a specific character and a leader who represents him. Our advice is therefore to choose the team that best represents you.
Instinct team

Team Wisdom

Courage Team
They never refuse a challenge and face every obstacle in their path hard-nosed. Led by a fearless and confident woman named Candela. The team's mascot is the flamboyant Moltres.
How to choose?
Unfortunately, the game does not offer any kind of interaction between teams that it is not the mere conquest of the gyms and it is also an end in itself, ergo the choice of the team is completely irrelevant on the gaming experience. But we can help you with some numbers:
- Team Yellow - 26% of players
- Team Blue - 38% of players
- Team Red - 36% of players
As you can see from the data above, the instinct team is at a clear numerical disadvantage compared to the other two teams, which instead are almost equal. Being more numerous, the members of the two top teams will always have control of more gyms than the fewer yellow ones. This leads us to a conclusion: if you want to be full of companions and allied gyms in your surroundings, choose blue or red teams, if instead you are ready to settle for a small number of allies you could join the instinct team, finding yourself with many gyms. enemies to conquer that will guarantee you many experience points.
