Untitled Goose Game is finally available and is, according to our review, "a masterpiece, another independent classic that we will remember for years as a sum of gameplay, fun and madness".
It's a funny title in its own right immediacy but not without depth: each area will in fact see you face a checklist of actions to be performed, and only once completed can you move on to the next area. In this guide we will help you deal with the goals list that Untitled Goose Game will attribute to you in Garden.
Enter the garden
This first objective puts you in front of different approach possibilities:
- activate the watering can so the gardener can come out and sneak up behind him
- use the hole in the wall that you find to the left of the garden
- squawk to get the gardener's attention and grab one of the fertilizer bags to force him out
- take the radio, so as to turn it on and let the unfortunate maintainer leave the garden
Steal the keys from the gardener
This goal can be achieved very quickly, if you get the radio. Move to the side of the gardener, steal his keys and get to the garden, so as to complete the previous task as well. To make your next goal easier, drop the keys near the sprinkler barrel.
Wet the maintainer
If you have left the keys near the sprinkler, go away and go to open the tap; you will soak the gardener who has gone to retrieve the keys. An alternative is to take something, like the radio, and have it follow you into the water.
Throw the rake into the lake
In the rearmost part of the garden you will find the rake: take it, pass by the plants on the right, thus avoiding the maintenance technician's gaze, and reach the lake to throw the rake in and complete the objective.
Plan a picnic
Most of the items you need are in the garden itself (the pumpkin, the jam, the thermos, the carrot and the radio), while the others are on a bench near the lake (the apple, the two pieces of sandwich and picnic basket). Bring everything onto the blanket spread out to the right.
Have the maintainer hammer his thumb
After completing these first 5 steps, it is very likely that the maintainer wants to bring back the items you stole for the picnic to the garden; if so, give him a hand to speed up. Once done, the gardener will pull out a sign that he will start planting in the ground, with a series of blows: if you squawk just before the last blow, the poor man will be afraid and, by mistake, will hammer his finger.
Make the gardener wear his summer hat
Essentially you will have to scare him by squawking again, but this time, being you on the outside, he will fall with his head incredibly close to your prehensile beak. Steal his hat and he, not finding it, will have to go and get the summer one.
