A few months ago, when PlayStation 5 was launched, Sony took the opportunity to revamp the PlayStation Studios site. Since that time, Guerrilla Games' presentation has lost all reference to the Killzone FPS series, thus indicating the software house as the creator of only Horizon Zero Dawn.
In short, if even before the shooter franchise seemed not to fare well at all, these days the Killzone.com site has been shut down, leaving some clarifications and a redirect to PlayStation.com in its place.

In short, it seems that the FPS genre is not a priority in the future development plans of PlayStation Studios. Another illustrious victim of this policy was the Resistance series which was no longer renewed after 3 exclusive PlayStation 3 successful chapters and two spin offs for Sony laptops.
It is instead interesting to see when the situation of the Xbox, which has always been linked to Halo, is diametrically opposite.
In short, all clues seem to lead to the conclusion that the series, present on Sony consoles since PlayStation 2, will never arrive on the new PlayStation 5.
