It's been just over three years since the first and so far only teaser trailer for Bayonetta 3. The presentation took place in fact during The Game Awards 2017 and since then the exclusive Nintendo Switch disappeared from the radar. No details, if not the continuous reassurances from Hideki Kamiya, who now comes back to talk about the game.
About two weeks after the last statements, the Japanese director again expressed himself vaguely on the timing of Bayonetta 3. During the transmission of Arcade Atchives, the author stated: “We are working on new things like Bayonetta 3, not that I can say a lot… But I hope to be able to give you an update during this year, as well as inform you about some other projects not yet announced. I'm not sure I'm authorized to say this, but I say it anyway. The thing is, I'm trying to do a lot of things this year. Keep an eye on us. I hope to bring some enthusiasm to this industry ”.
In short, Kamiya took the opportunity to remember that Platinum Games is working on multiple projects and hopes to be able to talk about it more in depth during these months.. We just have to hope to see Bayonetta 3 again in this period.
