Keep an eye on the "Challenges nearing completion" page
To quickly level up and make the experience within Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War even more intense must, in the first place, earn a large number of XP. To do this you will need to play regularly and, afterwards, always remember to check the "Challenges" tab in the lobbyby simply pressing the R1 / RB keys before the start of each game.
Once in the challenge menu select the "Multiplayer" option and use the lower panel to access the numbered challenges. From this screen you will have access to the list of challenges closest to completion, some of which are developed on several levels and with rewards capable of reaching even 5000 experience points!
Diversify the game mode
Second useful method to quickly level up is to change the game mode, but what does that mean? As you play, you may have noticed that some challenges in the Career and Battle Hardened sections correspond to specific modes or requirements, such as winning a Free-for-All game or finishing in the top three in 10 Hardcore games.
Such requests can present interesting challenges but, sadly, not good opportunities to earn XP points. In this sense opt as much as possible for challenges with objectives such as Hardpoint and Domination which, based on protecting areas and maintaining bottlenecks, will earn you far more experience points than those based solely on eliminations.
Also make sure you don't leave Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War before reaching the final screen of the challenge because, in that case, you will risk losing many of the accumulated XP!
Take advantage of the Zombies
As well as with the challenges dedicated to multiplayer, equally useful for gaining experience points and leveling up are also the Zombies Mode Challenges. The latter in fact, as previously reported, has its own section of "Challenges nearing completion", including many extremely easy to complete!
The variety in the equipment
Have you found a weapon that has conquered you and you don't want to abandon it? Understandable, but not for the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in fact, it rewards players capable of adapting to any situation and, therefore, also vary in the use of weapons as needed. Dark Ops
Equally useful for earning XP are the challenges "Dark Ops" which, being classified, very often even require you to play using an alternative style to be able to complete them. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War unfortunately it does not indicate how to unlock many of the challenges in this category, but here are some of the simpler ones included in the multiplayer mode:
- Throw a frag grenade to kill the enemy who threw it at you (1K XP);
- Kill 25 enemies on land while underwater (5K XP)
- Delete a team of four in Fireteam (5K XP)
- Plant C4 on the enemy boats and destroy the vehicle, killing the occupants five times (5K XP)
And in Zombies mode:
- Get two weapons for Pack-A-Punch level 3 with ammo mods and activate all perks at once (1K XP);
- Complete the Easter Egg (5K XP)
- Kill 50 enemies by unlocking a single set of points from the crafting table (5K XP)
- Purchase all weapons from the Mystery Box (5K XP);
Use Double XP codes
Last - but not least - method of getting additional XP points in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War I say take advantage of the special Double XP codes, by purchasing items in real life. The complete list of promotions falling into this category are shown on the blog of Activision, so you just have to take a look and choose the product that best suits your needs. Once the purchase has been made, simply click on the L3 button in the main menu to activate the code.
