The highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out and sales have already recorded excellent numbers, with CD Projekt RED having already announced that it has covered the development costs. As reported in some post on Reddit, several Sony users claim to have been able to obtain a full refund after making the request and speaking to an operator; However, this result does not seem to be unique for everyone, with many who instead report requests for reimbursement that have been rejected.
If the refund is confirmed for some, it would be an important exception: according to what is reported on the PlayStation website, in fact, the refund of a digital purchase is valid for 14 days from the date of purchase, but it lapses once the game download or streaming has started, unless this is faulty.
