During 2020, almost all video game events were held via live online streaming due to the ongoing health emergency. The most important event instead, E3 2020, has been completely canceled but is now ready to return, most likely digitally.
According to a report by VGC, it would seem that the association behind E3 (ESA) has already sent small presentations to some publishers describing what could be done next June. The scheduled days should be 15,16 and 17 June 2021. Everything should obviously be kept online, via direct streaming. This time, however, all studios, publishers and hardware manufacturers would still have much more time for the organization of more important events from a communicative point of view. In fact, the latest events of this type have been quite disappointing, with few exceptions, precisely because of the completely new and improvised mode.

However, we will have to wait for the votes of all ESA members and therefore definitively understand how this year companies will advertise their products even with the lack of physical events. However, we are sure that this time the shows will be of a higher level, given the time available for the organization.
