The arrival of PlayStation 5 is now imminent and after having reported the news on the Dualense it's time to clarify the HDMI 2.1 cable included with PlayStation 5. Respect PlayStation 4 Pro which included HDMI 2.0 cable, PlayStation 5 includes HDMI 2.1.
Many wonder if the new cable is compatible with all TVs; as confirmed by several lucky owners, the new cable is compatible with all TVs with "HDMI 2.0 input". Where the TV supports the HDMI 2.1 interface, the player can take advantage of the 4K 120hz output.
The new PlayStation 5 cable is 1.5 meters long and is labeled "High Speed" and not "Ultra High Speed" commonly found in HDMI 2.1 cables.
