Streets of Rage 4 has well 13 characters unlockable, each with their own sprites and a moveset of their own, fully taken from the history of the series.
There are Axel, Blaze, even the absurd Dr. Gilbert Zan, and to unlock them you will have to earn a lot of lifetime points, that is, essentially you will have to reach important score thresholds: to do this, commit to improving your combos, completing levels with a higher rating, etc.
We remind you that the scores are shared among the various mode, so that literally every action helps you get closer to unlocking these extra characters.
