The costs may initially seem quite low but, to complete the final project and get the "Mario Builder" costume, you need 1000 coins. How to earn coins easily in Super Mario Maker 2
- Job 55: Get in the car and cross the level. Here you can collect a 50 coin and there is the possibility to accumulate up to 117 coins in one run.
- Job 56: To complete the job you need to collect 80 coins, but you can earn up to 150.
- Job 70: if completed, it allows you to earn 80 coins in just over 30/40 seconds.
- Job 76: The coins needed to complete the job are 50, but it is not possible to find additional ones inside the level. To reach 80, in fact, it is necessary to collect all those available.
- Job 90: this is also a very quick job to do. A few seconds and, if you collect everything, you will receive 55 coins.

Hats:
- Superball Mario Hat: to unlock it just hit a question mark block in story mode.
- Frog Cap: it is unlockable in story mode like the previous one and is obtained by completing all of Sounfrog's jobs.
- Cat Mario Hedgear: obtained by playing 100 races.
- Bowser Headpiece: obtainable only by winning more than one consecutive “versus” multiplayer match.
- Luigi's hat: press "Rank C" in Multiplayer Versus games.
- Bowser Jr. Headpiece: It is obtained by reaching 10 points in the Endless Challenge mode.
- Princess Peach Wig: to get it you need to participate in the Endless Challenge and win a silver medal.
- Shy Cap: to get this hat you have to create a race, publish it and wait for it to be played at least 100 times.
- Magikoopa Hat: is redeemed after completing 10 races.
- Pipe Hat: a time record must be set on any race.
- Top hat: unlockable after earning a silver medal with Spike.
- Cheep-Cheep Hat: the procedure for obtaining it is the same as for redeeming the “Shy Cap”. The only difference, in fact, is that the created level must be played at least 500 times by the other players.
Shirts and Hoodies:
- Super Mashroom T-Shirt: is unlocked automatically.
- Refreshing Shirt: you simply need to complete all of Mr. Eraser's jobs (story mode).
- Slobber Shirt: redeemable after participating in 10 races.
- Blockstripe Shirt: it is unlocked if someone leaves a comment on a ride you created.
- Yamamura Shirt: you can unlock it by completing all of Yamamura's jobs (story mode).
- Bill Banzai shirt: la you can get by commenting on a ride.
- 1-UP Hoodie: automatically unlocked.
- Slobber Shirt: obtainable by participating in 10 races.
- Inflatable T-Shirt: If you create a race online and it is played 1000 times, this shirt will be yours.
- Doctor Headgear: awards Rank B in Versus Multiplayer.
- Smiling shirt: award Rank A in Versus Multiplayer.
- Fireworks shirt: win 5 consecutive games in versus Multiplayer.
- Chomp doh shirt: get 100 points in racing.
- Question Block Hoodie: earned by earning a bronze medal in the Endless Challenge.
- Nintendo Shirt: automatically unlocked.
- White Tanktop: complete a run.
- Angry Sun Shirt: in Endless Challenge mode (normal difficulty) you have to achieve a high score in ten races.
- Fish Bone Shirt: publish a ride online.
- Hot Hot Shirt: first-clear ten different races.
- I like you Camisole: get a single like for your run.
Clothes:
- Mario outfit: play 1000 races in Course World.
- Princess Peach tennis outfit: to unlock it, in story mode, you need to finish the job "Super Mario Bros. W1-1?" provided clearly, by the princess herself.
- Yoshi's dress: complete 100 races to unlock it.
- Suit Cat Mario: participate in 100 races.
- Princess Peach Dress: complete the “Let's Go, Builder Mario” job assigned by the princess.
- Bowser Suit: win several consecutive Versus Multiplayer matches.
- Doctor Coat: awards Rank B in Versus Multiplayer.
- Luigi's dress: Press Rank C in Versus Multiplayer.
- Robot Suit: complete all levels of story mode.
- Magikoopa Robes: Complete 10 courses in Course World.
- Gogoo Onesie: find a ride online and like it.
- Superball Mario Suit: Complete Purple Toad's latest job in story mode.

- Skull Skirt: complete ten runs
- Big Spender Shorts: you must complete 100 runs in Course World
