The God of War sequel could arrive on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 according to an interpretation of Jim Ryan's words that didn't confirm the fact that the title is a PS5 exclusive.
When asked "Can you confirm that God of War Ragnarok is a PS5 exclusive?", Ryan responded by speculating on the cross-gen nature of the title, saying only: "I'm sorry, I can't say anything about this today".
Obviously this does not confirm anything, as it is a classic "no comment", but we can still expect such a turnaround given the precedents and given the recent problems in Sony's communication. In fact, other titles such as Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Horizon Forbidden West, which were previously only planned for next gen, then turned out to be cross-gen titles.
We therefore await confirmation from sony, and perhaps new information about the new adventure of the God of War, which we remember is scheduled for 2021.
