It's only been a few days since Gotham Knights' official announcement during the DC FanDome and WB Games Montréal has started releasing the first information about its new creature.
Those who have followed the Batman Arkham series will surely remember how the city of Gotham has always been reproduced rather deserted; a way not to complicate the open world and optimize the gameplay. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, the creative director of the game Patrick Redding he explained how this time the city will be more alive and will include its inhabitants engaged in their daily routines and personal commitments.
The development team is working to recreate Gotham in a way that is recognizable to lovers of comic book heroes, including all the iconic places and buildings of the city. Gotham will be split into 5 main villages, each controlled by a criminal faction.
Gotham Knights will be released in 2021 and will be a cross-gen title, meaning it will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC.
