Super Mario Odyssey - Hat Kingdom Guide: Moons 1-11


    In the world Kingdom of the Hat di Super Mario Odyssey (of which you can read our review here) there are 31 Power Moons, but during Mario's first visit it is impossible to recover them all. Once the Kingdom of the Falls is over, it is possible to return here to start collecting the Moons present, but they will all be available only in the post-game. In this guide we will explain how to get the Moons numbered from 1 to 11.



    Super Mario Odyssey - Hat Kingdom Guide: Moons 1-11

    • 1 - A frog jump over the fog

    After capturing a frog, jump to the railing which is east of the Odyssey, and that point jump onto the tuba in the mist. Then jump to the second tuba which is next to three blocks. Above these blocks is an invisible one, jump to make it appear, then jump on it, and finally jump higher again to get to the Power Moon.

    • 2 - A frog jump from the roof

    After capturing a frog, jump near the central square and enter the two-story tuba-shaped house. Hanging up there is the Power Moon, to reach it you have to jump with the frog and shake the controller to activate its ability and jump even higher.

    • 3 - Atletic-tac 1

    To activate the first time trial you will have to throw Cappy at the scarecrow at the foot of the Sometimes Bridge. The challenge will have to be faced without Cappy's help, and Mario will have to reach the Power Moon before time runs out. Roll forward while shaking the controller to get back to the bridge by moving as fast as possible and you will reach the Moon without any problems.



    • 4 - Good evening, Captain Toad!

    Returning to the top of the Hat Tower you can find Captain Toad. Just talk to him and he will give you a Power Moon.

    • 5 - Shopping in Borgo Tuba

    In the central square, talk to the yellow Crazy Cap merchant. For 100 coins he will give you a Power Moon.

    • 6 - Free flight over the poisonous tide

    By jumping from the highest northern point of the Hat Tower you can reach the half-height ledge. Going through the red door will start a special stage. Cap-ture the Para-Goomba inside and fly through the four rings above the poison tide, collecting all the crescents. The fifth wedge is next to the white platform ahead. Once all 5 segments have been collected, the Power Moon will appear.

    • 7 - Crossing of the poisonous tide

    After following the instructions for moon number 6 do not leave this area. Cross the sea of ​​poison and reach the white platform that is seen in the distance. At this point, still using a Captured Para-Goomba, go down after letting a wave pass. You will find a hole in the fence under the platform. Go through it and you will reach a secret section of the level where you will find some purple coins and another Power Moon.

    • 8 - Danger: Mobile blocks

    After reaching the Hat Tower, enter the red door on its top. You will have to overcome a long path of moving platforms using the Elettrizap generators. Stop on a node to wait for the platforms to go into ideal position and then leave the Cap-tura to continue patiently.



    • 9 - Treasure hunt among the moving blocks

    Still in the area of ​​Power Moon number 8, reach the upper level of the moving blocks. Move forward until you reach the orange platform which is next to an L-shaped block. Turn around, wait for the block to extend, and you will find the Power Moon in a niche inside it.


    • 10 - Exploration of the Pond of Frogs

    From the Central Square, jump off the northwest ledge, through the door to a hidden level. Grab the crescent moon near the entrance, capture a frog and jump over the area you entered to find the second one. Exploring the suspended platforms on the perimeter you will find the third, while the fourth is located in a niche on the platform above the coin ring. The last is on the highest platform in the center.


    • 11 - The secrets of the Frog pond

    In the same area as Power Moon 10, after capturing a frog, go to the white platform that slides back and forth in the wall. From the platform, jump to the narrow upper wall, and from there jump to the recess in the wall just above you, finding a Power Moon.
